  1. nah son, it wasn't me with the problem. they insisted i put it on. they all had coats and whatnot on, INSIDE the bar. it was quite ridiculous. and yeah, i'm used to the insane midwest weather. it snowed in april here, then a week later was mid-70s. eeek! i just talked to my friend who said he can be my coach after my first 8 jumps. i am so effing excited.
  2. i was in san fran and the only person not bundled up in "chilling" 60-degree weather. so, some dude gave me his awesome hat to keep me warm. the only problem was getting the beer down. but that's what IVs are for, AMIRITE
  3. definitely! everyone i know in "the industry", and the people i met there, said i was the perfect candidate to become addicted to the sport. i am seriously considering getting my license. i realize what a huge financial commitment this is, and that is the main thing i am concerned about. i'm almost overwhelmed at the prospect of this whole thing, but at the same time still have that adrenaline running through me. they said that can last for almost a week, so maybe i should wait to think about this until then. i am just so stoked about the idea of possibly finding "my thing"...since graduating college last year, i have been just kind of drifting along.
  4. first and foremost, i would like to say how refreshing it is to be on another forum. i have been on a site(s) for nearly 4 years now, comprised of college students and alumni from around the country. i am sad to say that i have an addiction. but i've also made many great friends, including my best friend (i know, right) on there. anyhew. i had my first jump this weekend at a boogie in richmond, IN. not only was the actual skydiving experience effing amazing, but hanging out w/ all those awesome people was thrilling. i had brought my taser, and we spent a better part of sunday morning (after a looong night of partying) tasing each other (and myself, apparently). so, in conclusion, HAY GUYZ! WHATS GOING ON IN THIS INTaRNETS?? :P
