I really want to give you a smart ass reply but, I am not able. Well I can't hold it in any longer...I don't know how you do it Ron! When we were young we were taught to "always be prepared." In the past several years we've seen examples of economic instability...we've seen the greed. We've heard things like "economic collapse," "financial meltdown," "recession," "depression,"whatever...we've seen the impact around the world, and then people laugh and mock at those who dare ask the question of how should we prepare if such a seemingly inevitable situation should occur? And then the same scoffers try to turn it into some type of self serving bigoted bash against christianity. Perhaps...I just think this subject is rather broad. I guess it's all relatively subjective and is certainly a matter of perspective. 200 years ago people got along just fine with candles, but when we had the northeast blackout of 2003 it was like chaos over here in Detroit. We are certainly more vulnerable to catastrophe the more we continue to rely on technology and bureaucratic bullshit as they permeate every facet of our society. I was gonna facetiously call it something like "social entropy," but it turns out there is already a theory on that. Just because something negative is written doesn't mean we just stand by and watch, or even worse...expedite it's fruition. Your problem is that you apparently are having trouble distinguishing the difference between the specific purpose of going out and killing a bunch of random people and the purpose of defending yourself. There are many tools one can use to kill en masse, such as a car or 767....the sky's the limit. As for self defense...It's rather difficult to conceal carry a car. I never really had the balls/opportunity to try some of the more offensive cheese. I basically just stick to the regular boring supermarket types, tho, unbeknownst to me, I did eat some sharp cheddar that was 2 weeks past expiration...that gotta count for something.
