1. My original statement was poorly worded, but further explained in a subsequent post. Gun related deaths in the US are higher than most if not all other western countries. Which demonstrates that you believe that the violence follows the introduction of the guns. So WHY should it not follow that as we see a MILLION MORE GUNS in civilians' hands every single year without fail, we don't have anything remotely like a corresponding increase in gun crime. First you say that the gun crime goes where the guns are. Then you demur from explaining why more guns are not causing more crime to occur. Face it, man, he's right: your hypothesis is indeed in tatters. Are you going to continue to pretend you have not read repeated calls to explain this disconnect, this failure of your argument? 2. A civilized society would ban neckholes. Those aren't the only kinds of holes we should see about banning... Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
3. so when will you explain why the gun related death rate isn't rising as the number of guns continues to rise? Your hypothesis falls apart. BESTEST MOST AWESOMEST POINT MADE IN THE ENTIRE DISCUSSION!!
4. Eaxctly!!!!!!! So, if we want to reduce obesity, obviously we need to dramatically increase the amount of ice cream and fatty foods available Boy, you sure don't like facing the true point straight-on, do you. The point is, no, we could leave the ice cream around if we held people to account for how much they overindulge. With responsibility and moderation, there's no danger from the ice cream, and no need to ban it. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
5. There are plenty of not-quite-first-world civilizations, and even some western ones that don't quite reach "our" level, that have every bit the gun-death rate as the U.S. (And please, don't call it the "US," because it's not a "WE," it's an abbreviation.) Can you shed a little light on why it's not fair to compare the U.S.'s gun-death rate with places like Jamaica, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, South Africa? I mean, if gun bans get guns out of the hands of civilians, why should it matter that these are underdeveloped places when you go counting gun deaths? 6. Look at countries with gun bans. Are guns gone from them? Hardly. In fact, in England, not only has violent crime skyrocketed according to many reports (many of them from British newspapers), but so has gun ownership--which is no longer allowed among civilians, but the jump in gun ownership is not among the good guys, it's among the criminals. You haven't read the articles that say that carrying KNIVES is becoming a rampant problem in England? (Despite, um, the laws that prohibit people from carrying knives, I would add.) I don't think there is any of this absence of "bloodlust" or criminality or violent tendencies in England. Where exactly are you, anyway, that you say you live in a country that doesn't have violence, and thus has no need for armed self defense? Anti-gunners allllways talk about all the innocent bystanders who will be shot and killed when anyone uses a concealed handgun for self defense. WHERE ARE THE REPORTS, if you please? Does one have to be S.W.A.T.-team trained in order to be able to use a snubby .38 carried in her purse to save herself from rape and strangulation by a trio that follows her to her car in a deserted parking lot? It would be nice if you were honest enough to compare the possible need of a firearm to something REAL, like the possible need of a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, or seat belt. I am not about to give up my smoke alarm just because of how exceedingly rare house fires are. Likewise, I have driven for the better part of 21 years, and have never had cause for a seat belt to save me from serious injury. I guess I really don't need 'em anymore. Right? 7. Excellent point. A quick quiz for the gun-o-phobes: How many mass murders have been committed at locations filled with good guys with guns, like police stations, or Marine Corps combat bases? Uh-huh. I didn't think so. Now compare that number, to the incidents of mass murderers killing people in so-called "gun-free" zones, like schools, businesses and churches. Uh-huh. I thought so. So where are you more safe? At a school where any loony with a gun can walk in and kill at will, unopposed? Or at a police station where any attacker will be quickly met with opposing gunfire? Uh-huh. I thought so. There has got to be some lesson that we are supposed to take from the fact that as many times as these questions have been put to anti-gunners, they show absolutely zero sign of either listening, comprehending, or conceding this most unassailable point. Tells you something about the huge void in them that should be filled with intellectual honesty. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

9. Does anyone know of a good source for CR2032 batteries for the Pro-Track? I was at a DZ once and the shop there sold me some way overpriced CR2016s, I think it was, which although not the perfect correct size, did work. (I guess it's the voltage that matters?) I'd like to use the right batteries, but CR2032s seem really hard to find. What sources do you know of, brick-and-mortar chain stores preferred for ubiquity. Thanks! 10. Hi, My AAD (CYPRES2) is past due date for a new battery or service or whatever it is they do. (I haven't jumped in about a year.) I know I of course need a repack and a good gear inspection, and I need that CYPRES2 service (which I am told will take my rig from me for at least several weeks?). DO I have the OPTION of jumping a rig with an out-of-date AAD, and just not turning it on? Or is it legally required that I have it in-service if it is installed in my rig? Thanks for your help. 11. Wait, you care that the few innocent people that you believe are convicted don't receive the death penalty but you don't care that they are raped on a daily basis? PS: I also find it interesting that you condemn others for advocating (or using) torture while advocating torture (being raped on a daily basis) yourself ... way to go! Wait, you weren't actually expecting a reasoned, rational position from her, with consistency and everything, were you? Yeah, right! You know how many times I've read the opinions of death-penalty opponents, who say it's cruel and inhumane to execute murderers, who then say that we should be happy to give them life in prison because of how cruel and sucky life in prison is, and how torturous to spend decades behind dank walls in a tiny cell? So on one hand, they are all about compassion and being humane, and on the other hand, tell us that we should support life in prison because it's a great way to make life torture for the condemned. This is the "consistency" of the left. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
12. You have NO FUCKING clue how I come to my feelings about rapists and those who prey on innocents. I dont believe they should warrent ANY kind of mercy whatsoever. The crimes they do affect people for their whole lives.. I feel its fitting for them to suffer for as long as physically possible and a quick death is far to easy of a way out for scum like that. Karma is one big FUCKING BITCH. Torture is a completely different form of state sponsored abuse against people who may or may not deserve it.. if you cant make the distinction.. I truely feel sorry for you. You believe that innocent people get convicted and sent to prison and advocate rape in prison ... think about it. PS: Rape in prison is torture. Prison is part of the state. You don't believe the state should do anything to stop rape in prison. Thus, you advocate state sponsored abuse against people who may or may not deserve it. Oooh, sick burn! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
13. Do you want all murderers to be forgiven and released from prison? Is so, I make a motion that they be sent to YOUR home town. Yea really............. hey, I have an idea...... let's lock him away for the rest of his life w/o parole. Does it have to be excution or freedom? The major problem I have with that is this: The reason we don't execute many murderers is almost exclusively the fact that over the decades, liberals have stood defiantly in the way of letting that be the norm. So we ended up with "life in prison"--which hardly ever means ACTUAL life in prison until the death of the prisoner. Why? Because even when they can prevent execution, which they despise (even when it's a despicable criminal murderer being executed), they are not as good as their word. They don't keep their word, and after a while, "life in prison" means, "Oh, we'll keep him there until he convinces us he can be well-behaved." If I knew that "LIFE IN PRISON" would fucking MEAN "LIFE IN PRISON," and the murderer won't be let out until he's been pronounced dead, I might consent to that. And I would want to make sure that the sentence involved the STARKEST of existences, NO ENTERTAINMENT WHATSOEVER, no socializing, no learning, no NOTHIN'. MAKE IT SUCK VERY BADLY FOR THE CONVICT. And do everything possible to make sure that no convict ever gets an opportunity to harm a prison employee. See, that is one huge objection I have to warehousing useless vermin like murderers forever and ever: every one of them is a living lethal threat to GOOD guys. I've seen a now-famous photo of a burly prison guard who was slashed five or six times on the back and chest by a convict with some sort of contraband blade. The officer is sitting on a treatment table, presumably VERY doped-up, and he looks like a slab of beef. His cuts are wide open and appear to be about two inches in depth. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE WON'T EXECUTE DANGEROUS VERMIN. THEY TAKE THAT 1 IN 1000 CHANCE TO HURT THEIR JAILERS. THAT IS A CHANCE THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE IF WE WERE NOT INDULGING THEM TO LIVE. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
14. This is a ten-minute youtube video with narration, taken from a Chicago subway station. It depicts the deplorable corruption of Chicago police, and details how that corruption went all the way to the top, when an officer needlessly shot a man to death in the station. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrOzJo0KhKs Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
15. Ahh, Bennigan's. Back in the mid-'80s, one of them opened in my town back home. My brother got hired at their job fair and they trained him directly to be a bartender and worked there for a couple of years I think. I used to LOOOOOVE their Smothered Steak, and the Shrimp Palermo pasta dish. OMG now I'm starving. I gotta go eat. The only problem was that there were a lot of bad drug influences at that place -- but that's the same at every restaurant you go to, it seems. (I worked at a TGIFriday's and it was not too bad, but it was there.) Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
16. That's funny, it's one of the songs that I hadn't even listened to! No, she's no relation, never met her or anything. I just ended up traipsing across her YouTube video and said, "Wow, she's got a great voice and she's really cute!" I hope you liked the songs. Hey, what about the claymation stuff? No comment on that? It's trippy!... Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
17. How do you know that compassion isn't a by-product of evolution? If it is, it would probably (in the long run) end up being selected against. It's a trait that would have us expend our energy and resources on things that drag on us as opposed to give us an edge and help us survive. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
18. It's a good thing? Is that because of the uniqueness of humanity as opposed to the rest of the animal kingdom? What would you say if bald eagles began to feed those members of their population that were born with defective vision that prevented them from hunting? What if the parents fed and supported the defective chicks right on up through breeding age, and then they reproduced, passing on genes for exactly the opposite of what eagles need to survive as a species? Would you hope for the defective eagles to perhaps start passing on genes (although it may take a few million years) for echolocation, so eventually their deficiency would no longer matter because they'd now have given rise to a race of eagle-bats that hunted by sound instead of keen vision? I personally do not think it is beneficial, overall, that humanity waters down the quality of its overall gene pool by keeping defective specimens alive through artificial support mechanisms. This goes for everything from kidney dialysis to corrective lenses. Technically, since I wear eyeglasses (or contact lenses), I shouldn't go passing on my own genes. I recognize this. (Though my health overall apart from that is fine.) Neither should diabetics, or schizophrenics, or those with hypertension, or many other diseases. We are doing our species no favors in the long run. Just making ourselves genetically weaker. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
19. Perhaps our local homeless people should take a page out of the Ughiboogi book... Next time some society chick is eating at a posh sidewalk cafe, and a homeless guy is hungry and needs to draw attention to his "plight," he should hoist a brick and bash her head in. Really pounce on her--make sure nothing recognizable is left after the attack. I mean, really mash her brain tissue into the pores of his brick, you know? The wetter the better. Naturally, the only fair thing for the maitre-d' to do is come running out with an opulent spread for him to dine on! Everyone loves a guy who informs you of his plight via the act of depraved, wanton murder, right? Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
20. So the thing they want everyone to see them do when the eyes of the world are finally on them for a moment is blowing up innocent people and hacking policement to death unprovoked. Hey, where do I send my check?! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire

22. Something just occurred to me; not sure why it took this long, but oh well... The headlines have been saying "top activist and such, right? Wouldn't you think it speaks volumes to the public that the anti-gunners are admitting outright that they got SUCKERED THIS BADLY, and let a total pro-gun spy rise to a high level in anti-gun circles? They're pretty much openly admitting that they are incompetent boobs, but they're happy to do it just to try to paint the NRA as... what... successful at what it's supposed to do? Talk about a pyrrhic victory! Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
23. Some internet discussions I've seen have included anti-gunners taunting pro-gunners, saying, "Yeah, wait and see what the anti-gunners do when they infiltrate the NRA." To which I suggest that all the NRA or other pro-gun organizations need to do to vet would-be infiltrators and eliminate them is to have an "all-our-members-go-to-the-shooting-range day" once every few months. When the diaper-shitting mewling pansy-ass effete anti-gun pussies realize they are going to have to handle and use firearms or else expose themselves, they will shit themselves and run screaming out the door. And that's before anyone tells them they'd be obligated to bring "at least a few" of their own guns. Spirits fly on dangerous missions Imaginations on fire
24. Please show us where, in the Bill of Rights, he was entitled to consult the Mexican consulate. I don't see where he was denied a constitutional right, and I also doubt seriously that you can point out where he was. I see nothing but a minor flaw in an otherwise proper prosecution. Add to that the fact that the piece of shit confessed, and there is no doubt that he did the crime, and I fail to see what is so worrisome. If he had been denied counsel, or had the court somehow withheld exculpatory evidence, then we'd be dealing with an injustice. This was so far from an "injustice" it's not even funny. This was the epitome of justice. The travesty is found in the fact that a shitstain rapist/murderer almost got the chance to fuck us with our own system and avoid the justice he had coming. 25. Shit, some messed up shit happened when I didn't check my shit. I posted a working link above each description and they work now. Not sure why the way I encoded the links the first time didn't work; but thanks for alerting me to it. Now go watch and enjoy.
