I was invited to participate in the scrambles at my DZ in Hazleton Pa this coming weekend, I was told by a few people that they are a lot of fun and that its all for fun and when someone messes up everyone just laughs and has a good time. So I guess I'll give it a try, I am nervous though.. I have 30 jumps, I tried to jump with a guy yesterday and I got out first and he dove out 2nd, but we never connected, He went right past me and sunk like a rock while I seemed to be way above him.. I tried to arch to increase my fall rate but that didn't matter so I just practiced that then, rising and falling for a while... How many jumps did you have when you did your 1st scramble? Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!

I am sooo excited! I Finally got my A lisence!!! I started around June 6th,07 and yesterday, Sunday August 26th, 07 I completed it, with a total of 29 jumps! I felt so relieved, I didnt' realize the pressure I was putting on myself until I was finished.. Yeaaaa...

I had the pleasure of walking into the exit door of the outer chamber of a wind tunnel and I actually broke my nose! The worst part of it was that there was 4 gorgeous guys watching and falling over laughing at the whole thing... I didn't even get a conselation prize! My nose had been previously broken 2 times so it didn't take much to fracture it, I still consider sending them some DOOR stickers when I think of it... It is a great combination, but the intensity of the flavor is everything, too strong of a peanut butter taste and it is too overwhelming, so I usually make it a chocolate peanut butter filling or mix it with some cream cheese to smooth it out a bit!

Hi, I went to the NH wind tunnel this year and it is not dark at all. I loved it and learned a lot there too. The people, especially the owners were so nice and really helped me to get stable, a problem I was having every time my JM let go of me in freefall. I did a solo jump with another guy at the DZ with me since I hadn't jumped in 3 weeks and it went great! I dove out, got stable, did a back flip, had to fix my loose flippin goggles and then had to turn and track away and open... I never could have done it without the wind tunnel! I would send anyone there if they needed help! And the money I spent there, over $600.00 is chump change compared to the cost of how many jumps it would have taken for me to figure out all of the things I was doing wrong. When it comes to learning skills that can save your ass that tunnel rocks! Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!

YEA! And how about all the parties girls have with strippers too! NOT, how often do you see that? I never did! Did you ever hear of a women doing that? Going out the night before her wedding and getting off? I didn't.. So much for equality! But from what I hear, people like to talk the talk but they don't walk the walk. If your not in a long term relationship, say over 5 years or better over 20 years, then you don't really know what it's like to be with the same person and have to be faithful that long, its easier for some than others, I think pretty people have more opportunity and more temptation than their ugly friends do so they don't have the same playing field either. Or like rock stars, they have women throwing themselves at them all the time, more opportunity, has to be harder for them to be faithful. Me, love is love, sex is sex and fun is fun, they all mean different things to me! Faithfullness, I'll leave that to some priest to figure out! I'm human! I went to the SV New Hampshire last weekend and it was awesome! I was in the AFF and having a hard time and it changed everything for me. The owner, Laurie actually helped me and guided me and I had a marvelous time! They weren't sticklers for seconds either so I felt like I got a few extra here and there! I got released to novice 1 jump after I came home and have made 2 solo jumps since and I can't wait to keep going, I la la love it! Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!

Hi Mellissa I am only a few jumps ahead of you, I just completed my 16th jump yesterday! I got signed off of AFF on 15 and 16 was my first solo from plane to ground! Whew, that's anxiety.... But rest assured it gets easier each time, When I did good, I'd have less anxiety the next jump, and so on.. I just started landing off radio and have not stood up yet on it.. I either flare too quick or too late, I've been sliding in, thats been easier then the roll on my body... Well, just keep on going and it gets easier, you can only get experience by doing it yourself! God Bless! Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!

:) I am officially signed off AFF! I did my first solo yesterday, I did a diving exit and did a flip or 2 then stabilized, I want to try to just glide out into my arch today when I go to the dz. I spent 38 minutes in the NH windtunnel practicing turns and stopping them but I am still turning once in a while, although now I start to track a little to get out of them then I got stable again. Well, I am going over to the dz now, Blue Skies! Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!

I bought a sabor 170 to keep costs down from a guy at the dz, good buy too, I am glad I am over the initial fears but I still get a little jittery upon boarding the plane. Blue skies! Just wanted to get a post up, New to all! On my 13th jump, I love love love it! Bought a sabre 170 to help make fees lower, one more jump to get to lesson 9 so I can go with a coach, I can't wait! Went to the wind tunnel NH this past weekend and it really helped me alot! I couldn't get stable before and I learned what I was doing wrong, they were very helpful and nice people! I'm blessed by all of the new people I am meeting and new places to go! Whether you think you can or can't either way you're right!
