hey i emailed you did you not get it???!!? sunday...hopefully
-
How old are you guys?

is infinity going to get skyhook? i get responses about skyhook on both sides, good and bad... its appealing to have every safety oriented device that exists.. i think the thing thats appealing about the infinity's is that i learned on them.. kArroflsaurs!
-
i know they are all good containers, but im gonna ask anyways... i learned on Infinity's and now im getting ready to finance gear, either new or used, or some of both.. infinity is like 20+ weeks out which sucks cause they were my first choice, and im too impulsive to wait that long. mirage is quicker but expensive, but if i would finance then oh well. i dont know how far out vector is... but anyways im lookin for a safire 2 canopy (used or new) but they are far out too :( the size i would need is 149 or 169 anyways.. WHAT WOULD YOU DO? WAIT FOR INFINITY, KEEP FOR HUNTING FOR USED? A NEW VECTOR (AND SKYHOOK OF COURSE) UGh
-
Nah they are just too busy skydiving... they only work on your canopy when they are on a weather hold
-
just jump off a building or a cliff! literally
-
haha, my dad knows the las vegas developer who paid for it ( my dad owns the law firm that his company uses) his name is David Jin and they call them the Hualapai Indians so i do believe you are wrong although im not gonna waste my energy to battle out what we should call them, i'm just suggesting that this would be really cool.

whats skyride? i could search but theres a thread already what are they scamming because apparently my local DZ likes skyride?

is making out in freefall hard? does saliva get everywhere? thanks (just dont want it to go wrong)
-
thats like returning a bulletproof vest because they didnt put packaging peanuts in the box

i had no idea the only thing holding the 3 ring in place is the cutaway cable.. how much pressure is actually applied to the cutaway cable that goes up the back of the 3 ring (dont know the correct lingo yet) how strong is the actual cable is it safe to twist back and fourth under canopy, do i risk anything had no idea that was all that was holding my main to my rig learn something everyday

from what my mentors are saying and my instructors, GET A SKYHOOK and infinity should have it soon patiently waiting, downsizing so i can get a small life saving device :D

Questions for the pilots out there
someday replied to JT_76's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
do ground school at a junior college, its very cheap compared to ground school at a flight center thats what i did and my ground school teacher was a CFI so when i was done i started flying with him (faa permits them at the same time if the instructor was the same) good decision too mate :D -
correct me when im wrong, but when i see mirages and infinity's next to eachother it looks like infinity has better pin protection (i mean im sure they are all good these days) but it looks like its more "flush" that there is no space between the flap and the outside of the container, its like its completley sealed, or so it seems that mirage's are kind of lifted off the back part? you get it? am i correct? (gratz)

so who would be down to do this? its like a 15 minute free fall.. i wonder if they will let us do 2 + way's we could do the worlds longest and possibly biggest (since we would have the time) head down or something. i think the future of skydiving is going to be quite a little more extreme... thoughts? i know its been posted before but its a new article and i wanna hear more :D

beautiful planet, rotten world lets unite and support eachother and we can go far :D

ok, but would those of you who have flown the impact agree that it is not as restrictive as a wing suit, therefore it could potentially be safer for lower jump numbers. it would honestly be a while before i could possibly afford one... but thought it would be a good introduction suit..
-
What are thoughts about someone with my jump numbers flying an impact bird man suit, as a precursor to wing suit flying? majority of my jumps have been tracking jumps for the specific reason of becoming a flying squirrel. ive seen mixed responses about skill level required and how easy/hard they are to fly. so what are your thoughts on my current jump numbers, or waiting till about 100 jumps? thanks
