-

Nice job. My mate has an FF3 with a blue flame paint job. Very jealous

I have the glass fibre version, zkull on the top and plain plate on side at the moment intend to add the Zkull at a later date. Great helmet, superb fit and the new plate design makes this a very flexible and affordable helmet compared to the Tonfly etc. Looking forward to a good summer

Great job have you had chance to jump it yet? Was looking at the angle of the cameras and wondered if they dont need to be a little lower at the front? Superb job though

Thanks Dude

Still no word from anyone on the Project 41 switches anyone? Happy 2010 ya all

QuoteI used the fog city inserts for motorcycle visors to prevent fogging, but they probably won't fit a skydiving helmet. Similar idea but cheaper, use a drop of washing up liquid that the wife uses to do the dishes and wipe on the inside of the visor and then buff off with a soft dry cloth.

I've seen mentions on an ebay sale of a switch made by a company called PROJECT41 anyone got any info on these?
-
Ive seen recently a guy with a Fuzion Ex in matt black that looked quite smart.
-
Its not unknown to have a bad batch, so best bet contact them they may already be aware of a problem.
-
How do you get the camera out? are you using a hypeye with this?
-
Not 100%, i know he has top mounted it to his Fuzion using the quick mount system. Most boxes on the market do use the thumb screws, for me it would be peace of mind knowing the camera is secure.

My mates just bought a cx105 box from 2kccomposites which is very tidy.
-
will the box not fit straight onto a L bracket?
-
Meant to say im still after a cx7 box
-
I returned the box to Tonfly, Giovanni agreed that the quality was not good and refunded my money straight away, so i cant fault the service just the manufacturing. Now where do i spend the money on a cx box?
-
Looked at my paypal account today and tonfly have refunded me, but they haven't made any contact to explain the workmanship of this product, which I thought they would as I may have wanted it replaced. I have now got a 2K composites cx105 box the quality is spot on, there is no having to make the camera fit with lumps of foam. It comes with a thumb screw and every thing needed to fit the box to the helmet. Thanks 2KC

I have had a reponse from Tonfly and have been advised to return the box for inspection.watch this space!
-
I have already boxed it up to send it back, we'll see what happens.

Picked up my new CX7 box from Tonfly. Well what can I say I'm shocked.... The finish and the build quality of this product was terrible, when all I hear on this forum is good thing about Tonfly.. Where did I go wrong??? It took around 6 weeks to arrive and I wish I could say it was worth the wait, but it wasn't.. Attached are some pictures which I have taken to show you what I received today. There is a crack around the hinge rivet hole, all the edges are very rough and the lid is a really bad fit. The list goes on.... Did I get a bad batch???? Your feedback would be good as I've just spent £100 on this box..!
