What the article doesn't say is the house was 6500 sq ft. This tragedy was a wake up call to the whole community, and some interesting things came out that we didn't know, smoke alarms need to be replaced every 10 yrs. Some of The new smoke alarms can be connected via wifi so if one goes off they all go off at the same time. Fire and water and trucks will not be able to reach my house. We know that we have a 1/2 house fire rated safe in the basement where we keep all our pictures and other irreplaceable items. Action plan bought 4 new smoke detectors when the alarms go off we grab the dogs and leave, the house will be gone. Leave car keys in the car so we can drive off. Privacy comes at a risk and my wife and I are willing to accept that risk. IMO The tragedy at fox island would have been preventable if the whole family had a workable action plan. instead of just the adults. Learn from this tragic incident, especially is you have children. Also don't assume you will be able to exit by the front door, have alternate exit plans I don't care if I have to leave my house butt naked as long as I have my wife and dogs. Discuss or ignore R. Hi Sparky We were jumping on military base and a first jump student went in with a pilot chute in tow. We had a SF medic jumping with us. He didn't hesitate, ran over and tried to give her CPR. Medics, corpsmen, first responders, are the real deal. R.

Hi Mr T Our time machines passed ea other. When we went back to missouri for two months we went back to the 1950s. No net, no tv, no cell phone, the land line ....... was fine because it was already in the house and connected. Found a old multi function stereo in the house so we did have am fm radio. FREE Life was good for our simple needs.
