  5. that's just some of the hassles, then you also gotta add , access to events, acquiring credentials to games, etc, etc. too much butt kissing involved at the beginning after a while you find your phase and youre ok, but you gotta prove yourself first. this business is tuff man. screw that , I just do it for fun and get enough gigs to pay for my gear, which by the way doesnt come cheap, some of lenses outhere cost more than my truck. regards Paul Keeping it real 22x7

  13. If you want to crop: type the letter "C" and that will give give you the little cropping icon, click and drag the square of your choice , or area that you want to crop, after that right click and choose crop or cancel, also , if after you highlighted an area you want to crop , move the icon to one of the corners and notice that you can rotate the square, hope that helps Paul Keeping it real 22x7

  16. check out : http://www.siphoto.com/?canon10D.inc they have a hack for the rebel 300d to make it work as the 10d also, I never tried those settings, but I heard it works. regards Paul Keeping it real 22x7
  17. Ryan: how are You: In regards to your question, what settings to use... first of all, for night time games or any other sports under less than optimun lighting coditions, you want to shoot at the widest possible aperture you can, say at 4.0 (im thinking you got the 500mm f4 with IS or 500mm f4.5 , so again you want to shoot at the widest possible aperture the lens can offer, otherwise if you attempt to catch the action at any other setting say 5.6 or 8.0 your pictures are gonna come out blurry, because the shutter speed is too slow, also increase your iso to either 1600 or 3200 , that will give you a break, youre gonna get some noise but thats cool, you can deal with that either noise ninja or some other photo enhancing software if you decide to let the camera do the thinking for you its probably gonna try to activate the flash and since your shootign with big glass it wont matter plus its gonna keep wanting to focus and its just gonna hang because there isnt enough light to focus on. hope this helps man. regards Paul Keeping it real 22x7
