I can only tell you what I did. ask one or two jumpmaster, instructor that you trust at you'r dropzone and listen only to what they said, the rest of us just don't know you at all , I can tell you to go with specter tri or omega all in the 190, 210 or so but the only people which twisted enkels and knee where I jump were jumping thoes canopy. I'm nothing special in canopy control so when I wanted to get my own canopy I ask to of my Instactors for their opinion on that and got the green light to go ahead with it my 0.02 Euro cent AM67

and what point is that ? AM67

It nice to learn somthing new every day . as for me I only have only two jumps on the stilleto 170 and they were on a very windy day so I didn't try anything spectecullar , Do anyone know if a Vengeance has the same problem? what I have noticed that it just like to keep going and I really need to flair if I want it to gain alltitud Amir AM67 -

" I recovered....actually gained a couple feet in altitude and was hanging there with ZERO ground speed about 10-12 feet up. Thats when I said to myself "Self...you just f*cked up!" Well...nothing to do now really but flare and pray. " Sorry but what is wrong ? you can just wait a second or two and then start the flair ,or Not . After a front riser turn the canopy will go back to its normal flying speed which sould be more then enoght to land it ,or did I get it wrong Amir AM67 -
I've bought a PD and allmost anyone I know in my dropzone flies PD Specter Stilleto Vengeance Velocity or Sabre but what can I do they are the only one that invested in here 10 years ago or so and at one point we get a snow-ball effect. The only demo program is a PD one so I would say it is quit difficult or was to try somthing else . so yes maybe they are not the best but I could not try a crossfire so I demo Stilleto and bought the Vengeance, is it the best canopy there is prob. not but I like it and feel confident flying it Amir AM67

What rig it was (RW) so it was a Vector (?) and did you have a belly extra reserve ? is there also cutaway handle for the rear reserve ? AM67

Welcome to the forum as a customer of a PD Vengeance I love your desigen and recomend it to everyone ,yes maybe it is not the highest preformance conopy out there but it keep me safe and stable when other on specter and triatlon saying look out for turb. at this or that altt. anyway thank's again for a great invention amir AM67

I think we should change the name of this thered to stuck toggel on Talon-2 containers. just thinking why is it steel happening is someone has to die first before riggers will know what their doing with thoes toggels Amir AM67
-
It is nice, surffing, even at 1.2 or 1.4 on stiletto or any other eliptic canopy then fun of landing make me want to go and jump again just to land and I have only 120 jump amir AM67

I personally like point #3 ,too bad I didn't know it when my Vengeance at 1.4 brake loop went over the toggel, yes I know there is a warning in my talon 2 manual which I didn't have back then. so come togel pull time and I'm going left in icrease rate . the problem is that when you try to pull on the stuck togel it get even warse so after two try or so look at the alt and see if it can fly strait and stable at that speed and then come flair time and I had nice soft and high grass to slid my butt off Amir the point if you have Talon 2 with velcro less toggels (nerow without a ring in it) let youre rigger stich the brake loop to the right size AM67
-
So does my Vengeance ,it love to go right then left then right and finally after a nice pull on the rear riser the slider start to come down and it's ready to fly. amir AM67

Just wondering . If it is not safe , How or why the hell 3 mini riser ring system get there tso -a,b,c,or d approved and allowed to be sold. Amir AM67

Deciding "This Canopy is Not For Me"
amir1967 replied to Jumperpaula's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Which one was it if I may ask AM67 -
I know I don't know what I'm talking about ,but 5 pilot can't be all wrong. maybe you guys have a different motor wings or Superman to help bring this plan to altt. but we have to sit for 50 min +- to 9,000 Amir AM67
-
In that one (C-182) you do have more time than you need to get drunk while is climbing to alttitud but that's for another forum I think Amir AM67
-
Waho. you can get with C-182 to 10,000 ft. yesterday It took us about 8 min for the first 1000 ft it was just at the pomp and 45 min later we were still not at 9000 ft. it just takes too dam long . One of Our dropzone rulles C-182 go no higher than 9,000 ft (and even then it cost more than it brings) Amir AM67

a very good choice another topic . How far is it from poin-clair to malon my familly live in Montreal and I would like to check it out when I'm on a visit Amir AM67

I'll drink to that ( reason as privail ), Vengeance 170 @ 1.4 and very happy that didn't go any smaller with 120 jumps I have all the fun I can handel with lots more in potential .about 65 on the Vengeance AM67

170 @ 1.4 for it's fast and unless I take real slow it love to loos alt. going from a sabre 170 to it felt like a big change so I took it real slow for the first 20 or so jumps, and not busy dropzone also helped alot for thoese time it decided to open and dive to one side. only trying to say unless you have exp. on this type of canopy I wouldn't take right away on 4 or 8 way .but that only me. and yes it is pain to collect the damm thing on windy day but it is so stable to fly. I think it worth the pain. Amir AM67

you can allways move to the Netherlands we dont have any hills over here Amir AM67

I have to agree Ted I had few time openinig when my canopy was in a dive (left or right) and I found out that the easy way out was rear riser pull dive to the left pull the rear left, but at least one I miss and was pulling the front one for a second or so noticing I was not leveling out to look again and pull the rear one. only me amir AM67

I think that most of the reply are very intresting but are not to the point . First we have to say what gliding angle or sink rate do we want in full flight and the test it with a different wingload (suspendent mass) and that would be the Max wing load for that glid angle per model per size canopy my 0.02 Euro cent AM67
