  1. get a one way ticket to Hawaii (Oahu), go to the north shore to skydive hawaii, live on the beach, only work when you need jump tickets/food. Food optional. Live!! I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  2. Macs are faster than the fastest windows operating PC and guess what... they DO NOT get viruses. At all. Did anyone read that article about that guy who was offered like $100,000 to write a virus for a mac and couldn't do it. Google it or something and you can read for yourself. I have had my Macbook for about a year and my parents have had their iMac for 5 years. Zero problems. none at all. Not even small problems. All my friends have problems with their windows based OS within months or something else stupid happens to it. No virus software needed on Macs, updates automatically. You can do anything with them. No wonder why most of Hollywood uses them for editing and guess what? The CIA and NSA all have Apple contracts because they are superior to any other OS out there. Who gives a shit that they cost double. I would rather pay $1500-$2000 every 3 or 4 years then the $700-$1000 every year or so. Plus I love not having to purchase any anti-virus software at all. After you buy it, it's free. Windows blows, end of story. All I ever hear on this site is people having trouble with there pc's. How come you never hear Mac problems? I wonder......... superior. Fuck the money. It's way worth it in the end next to a dying company with a piece of shit OS. You gotta pay to play. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  3. the real easy fix is to get a Mac and never worry about viruses or any of that stuff ever again. BULLETPROOF!!!! I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  4. When I was 4 I locked my 2 year old little brother in a dresser drawer. Then went down stairs and asked my Mom if she needed any help with anything and she knew right away that I had done something. My Mom had a vintage upright piano from the late 1800's with real ivory keys and when I was 5 I took a hammer and smashed about half of them. There is a lot more but I don't have 10 hours to spare typing. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  5. I have a PS3, Sony 5.1 surround and Phillips Amni-light LCD flatscreen. I use a regular HDMI cable from PS3 to TV for picture and a digital optical cable for audio from PS3 to sound system. Awesome everything!!!! I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  6. it has nothing to do with that. holy shit. grow the fuck up. I cannot stand negative people. All I am saying is that people should NOT take any advice from this site on the topic of jumping and/or gear. It is way to personal and everyone in our sport has evolved differently and at different rates. I am guilty of giving and taking advice on these topics. Only people who personally know someone or have jumped with them should offer their opinion on an area as important as downsizing. And now I know why so many skydiving friends of mine get sick of this site. Too many fucking anal people like yourself making comments like, "Sorry, didn't realize you had so many jumps and so much time in sport." Thanks for taking life way to seriously and this will be my last post on DZ.com. I'll concentrate on just the jumping part of skydiving. You can stay on here and make bullshit remarks to people who are just having fun. And Brian Germain is a god among men and probably one of the best jumpers I have seen. But even he wouldn't give personal advice to someone he has never met or jumped around. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  7. There is no good advice given on DZ.com. We don't know anyone we're talking to or the situation they're in. I don't know how many people I have run into and they're confused because they have asked for advice here and received 100 different answers. There are no downsizing rules. Are you kidding me? When you are comfortable enough to downsize then you do it. And yes, talk to a DZO or instructor at your DZ who has jumped with you or has seen you jump and consult with them too. It could be 50 jumps to downsize or 1000. It all depends on the person. Based on how I was flying and jumping I had an idea where I would be and now I dont plan on downsizing for a very long time. Everyone is different. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  8. i will man. i'll keep this one for quite a while. quite a while. I fly it better and feel more comfortable flying it than flying my triathlon and I am very conservative under it. front riser dives from base to final from 450 ft is the craziest I get. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  9. i ordered a brand new, custom Vector-3 with a Triathlon 175 when I was on my 15th jump. I new it would take 6 months and I ordered everything based on where I would be 6 months from that point. I love it. I now have a Pilot 150 that I load 1.37 and my rig still looks and flies like new. If you have the money and you're jumping regularly than do what you want. There are no downsizing rules. When you feel comfortable doing it then go. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  10. I heard a number that was 70 million. That is the healthy number Earth can 100% tolerate. So right about now we are 100 times over crowded. You should read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. It talks about that. Humans do not live under the laws of the community of life. Say for instance a famine/drought hits Africa. All the animal and plant species suffer a big blow to there populations, not extinct, but a significant loss. Humans though, we go around it. We pump in tons of food and water and medicine allowing ONLY humans and the domesticated animals that WE NEED to survive. By doing this we are not following the natural ways mother nature has in place. Things like the Flu, viruses, disease, natural disasters, etc. are supposed to drastically reduce population sizes. ALL populations. Not just a few while one species continues on raping the planet with an out of control force that thinks the planet was made for them. That's bullshit. We were made for the planet. Mother nature keeps everything in harmony and in order. But not when we go around her laws and do what we want. It sucks but in the end mother nature will not make an exception for us. By the way based on your badass sigline you should definitely read Ishmael, The Story of B, and My Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. It will cover everything. We we are screwing this planet up with over population (like I just talked about), The story of B talks about why we invented religion and how needing to be saved by a savior is not inherent to humanity, it is conditions created by man due to the historical evolution of war, famine, etc. Basically we needed help because with society we started destroying the place, and My Ishmael talks about society and over population some more. Thats my favorite book actually. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  11. Has anyone seen the History Channel special on books left out of the bible. It's amazing. Like three TOTALLY different depictions of hell, nothing like what we know of now. By the way there is no justification for hell. it's sadism, ego-mania and it eliminates the one true thing we evolved with and thats free will. Hell is just a scare tactic. A antagonist to a story. The show also talks about the last book revelation. How there were like 4 other versions and they were completely different. I have said it before: you think if there was truly a heaven and hell and God looking down on us there wouldn't be so much guesswork. There would be one way and not thousands of different ways. People need there to be a God, afterlife, etc. It gives them hope. People are not self-reliant. If the thought process known as faith, religion, etc. never evolved and every person took matters into there own hands and dealt with it then and there, then this world would be a better place. Actually if society never came about it would truly be a better place, but oh well. i guess it was inevitable. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  12. i just moved to the mainland after living in Hawaii for 6 years. I miss it A LOT!!!!! Jumping weather can be iffy though. Anyway, there are hostels on Oahu that you can use. most of them are on the windward side like Kailua or Kaneohe. Here is the link: http://www.hostels.com/us.hi.oa.html. Good luck, reserve one soon and don't bother with hotels. They're outrageously expensive. If my wife and I still lived there you could crash with us but were in suckville now. lol. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  13. First, get baked, then listen to Echoes by Pink Floyd. It's on the album Meddle. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

  16. i went to an ENT also. I had an MRI so they could find out in was Chronic Sinusitus. All they do is prescribe anitbiotics and drain it. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  17. if headaches appear with it it could be Chronic Sinusitus. I have that and my sinus goes crazy a few times a year I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  18. Men love scratches, rubs, etc. I dont know why. We just do. I could seriously have my whole body scratched and rubbed forever. My wife always gets tired of me asking but I tell her that I love her touch and she caves I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  19. not going to PR anymore. Gotta watch the money. Gonna go to Clewiston for the Everglades boogie instead!! I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  20. i just keep hitting the change alti button (either bottom, depending which way I am going) even when it says def. It will go past it. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  21. the earliest KNOWN evidence of an afterlife is that of the ancient Egyptians. There civilization dates to about 3,150 BC, so about 5,150 years ago (I was a little off). Our species finally evolved into what we are today (with little variation here and there) approx. 200,000 years ago. So that's about 197,000 years of not having an afterlife belief (that we know of, but so far we have no evidence). Read any books on ancient Egyptian religion or neolithic to present anthropological journals/studies. Before the ancient Egyptians animism was the primary belief. When you die, your energy becomes part of the earth and you live in, for example, the deer. And when you eat the, for example again, the deer, it becomes part of you. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  22. i am actually on the second chapter of Guns, Germs, and Steel. Great book. I NetFlixed the doc. from NG. I meant about 2.500BC. What really interests me us what happened before CE. Way, way before. so sometimes I forget most recent 2,000. The most evidence we have that suggests an afterlife is from the Egyptians. Around 2500BC. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  23. living in Hawaii, my buddy and I were headed up to the North Shore for some breakfast and then to surf and he asked, "Hey, wanna go skydiving?" I said yes with out thinkiing, did a tandem and the rest was history. Did another "for fun" tandem the following week and then signed up for the AFF course(only $1,200 for the whole thing at Skydive Hawaii). Three instructional tandems and 5 solos. Best decision of my life. I love jumping more than anything and skydivers are among the best people on this planet!! I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  24. i agree on the ignorance on both sides totally. But I definitely do not hate or dislike people who believe in God. Faith is a beautiful thing. My only wish is for the majority to educate themselves on the full history of humanity and all the history of faiths from the earliest form of polytheistic animism to Christianity we have today. That's all. Then using the best information, make a decision that is best suited for that person. Not take something that they have "always known" and run with it. I did it for 18 years but I have bettered myself with education and have made my decision from it. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
  25. in the end it's still will. They think they're turning their life over to something supernatural and that makes them feel better and helps the process. I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.
