  1. Signed by the Subject or the Photographer?? Gwen Stafani is my Daughters Idol and has been since was old enough to have an idol. I would pay a good bit for a print if Gwen signed it and ALOT more if there was the possibility of getting it personalized in some way.
  2. And I dont like the French or Crowd Music!! One of my favorite Movies ever is set on Bastille day.. Killing Zoe. Now whenever I hear Bastille Day, All I can think about is "What a great day to rob a bank."
  3. Yet after all this time, You still take the time to read and condescend. How sweet of you.
  4. You get what you pay for. Everybody wants cheap ass basement level airfares so why should the service be any different? And there you have it!! Straight from an Airline Person. Your response demonstrates the problem pretty well. How much harder would it really be to NOT throw the luggage?? And how is that even relevant here. People were hired to handle Bags. Shouldn't they at least make an effort to do so without throwing those bags around carelessly?? People just dont care anymore about doing a good job.. But of course they have a union to protect them so there is nothing the airlines can really do about it anyway. I absolutely refuse to check bags now. Watch any plane being loaded or unloaded for more than a couple minutes and it becomes crystal clear why that is.

  6. I would suggest that next time you ask Hans or Andy (Popsjumper - The really old guy wandering around in between his naps, Cant miss him) or any of the other regulars. Tell them you are looking for someone to jump with. I am positive they will find you some fun people to jump with. Actually that is something I think people should do at every DZ they visit if they don't already know people there. Tell the DZO and/or Manifest that you are visiting and looking for someone to jump with. See if they help you out or not. That will tell you a lot about the DZ. The Farm really does pride itself on being an open friendly DZ. Like everywhere, There will be Good days, Bad Days, Busy days and slow days but the Farm does more to make sure everyone is welcomed and has someone to jump with than any other DZ I have ever been to. Give them another shot.
  7. Cool. We did Rock of Ages and In the Heights Last weekend. Great Shows. I must say that we were blown away completely by Rock of Ages. I despised "Hair Bands" back in the day but enjoyed the hell out this show and was caught several times singing along. I loved that they had wait staff bringing you drinks DURING the show. My Girlfriend really loved that she could order a Bartles and James Wine Cooler to complete the nostalgia. Whether you are a Child of the 80`s like we were or not, This show was fantastic and the highlight of our trip. The "narrator" really stole the show and kept you laughing. The music and story were cliche but that is exactly what they were supposed to be. Set on Sunset strip in 1987 in a rock and Roll/Hair Band Bar and and Strip club. In the Heights was great too but in a much more traditional Broadway since. Great show to take the family too however it was just overshadowed by the rock of ages show we had seen the night before. Also spent Saturday at the Met (Next time we will have at least 2 days dedicated to Met as one day is just not enough) and hanging out in Central Park on a beautiful day. What did you think of Hair and Wicked?
  8. I agree. And dont forget make them Sammiches and Bring them Beer. Now I suddenly want to go visit skydivers. Anyone want me??
  9. This version is not too bad. I actually kinda like it.
  10. I think I spent most of the 80`s Fucking with Bela playing in the background. Got to see Peter Murphy a few years back when Bauhaus reunited. One of the best shows I have ever seen.
  11. Edmunds.com is your friend. (Ignore KBB.com as they are a dealer tool (Lowball values on trades and High Values on Purchases). Do your research before going shopping, Know what you want and what Fair market value is for that vehicle. negotiate over the phone or via email. Dont let the dealer get you into playing dealer games. They are much better at it than you could ever be. Get your financing set up before you go shopping. Do not let a salesman ever discuss "Monthly payments" with you. That is between you and your bank and has no relevance to what you should be paying for the car.
  12. Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting is the classic for get it going for me. No Talking, Just Head - Damage I have done for when it is time to just flat out knock the bottom out of it. Jace Evertt - Bad Things (Opening Theme from True Blood) has been getting a lot of play lately as this song is nothing but pure panty dissolver for my girl. Chris Issac - Wicked Game also always set the right mood.
  13. Yep. Either they like you or they dont. The Farm has pretty low standards, They like most everyone.
  14. You can take the girl out a Texas but I guess you cant take the Texas out of the Girl. It is all good to me. Kill it, Soak it, Throw it on the grill, Drink a few Cold Beers while it cooks, A Little BBQ Sauce on the side for dippin if ya feel like it. Throw in a hottie or three to look at and talk to while it cooks.. And heaven cant be much better.
  15. I say all us Atlanta folks meet up at Williams Brothers Bar-B-Q tonight. They have about every variation on the menu and at least 8 different sauces. Lets try em all and take a Vote!!(Just to be sure)
  16. What kinda meat?? (And I completely agree on the pre-soak)
  17. Alright.. Another critical debate that must be settled.. Barbecue. What kinda Meat, How should it be prepared and what kinda sauce first comes to mind when you think Barbecue?? Lets hear it. I like most all types of Barbeque but generally prefer Old fashion Smoked Pulled Pork with a Carolina style mustard based sauce. The 4th of July is coming up, Share your Barbecue secrets.
  18. Definitely prefer Women WITH fingers. It is way too hard for the ones without fingers to make a decent Sammich and they have too trouble opening my Beer without fingers.
  19. And then when you identify the Vegetarians, Just hand them a salt shaker, Point to the Lawn and tell them it is a Buffet. Bon Appetit!!
  20. Happy Birthday to the Kitty!!
  21. Going to New York for the 4th of July. Spending it on Broadway. I originally planned this trip to take my Daughter to see some shows, But she went and messed everything up by winning a Pageant
  22. I will be there next week myself (Thurs -Sun). Going to see In the Heights on Friday Night and what ever we can get tickets for on Saturday Matinee. Have an Extra Ticket now too for Friday night.
  23. Depends on the size of the stick and the mood of the bear. And if you use a big enough stick, the mood of the bear is guaranteed to change!!
  24. While I personally would NEVER engage in such activities myself, I can certainly see where less puritanical persons than myself could possibly yield to such temptation.
  25. I have done that too, And then one of the Dancers Put her hands on her Hips, bent Down and started picking them up. Now THAT was talent!! And.. Just think, Any quarter in your pocket may have been one of those.
