First let us say thanks to Spence, Julie and Crew (all of you) for a great Boogie once again! Thanks to all who helped hump all our groceries and other supplies!! I think its fair to say that Spence has brought the St. Patties Day Boogie back to full-scale….YOU ROCK IT CHRIS! With that being said, I think its time for "Old School Carbonezone" to bring it on next year… - Big tent 20x20 - Rent a Center = more frigerator and freezers (no more humping supplies UP AND DOWN STAIRS) - Scooter shuffle to get the SLACKERS to sign up early for dinner "we'll get you slackers trained somehow" even if I have to chase you down on my scooter - Most definitely bringing some hired help Thanks again for a great Boogie and all your support. Carbonezone Cut-Away Café returns OLD SCHOOL- BIG BOOGIE STYLE next year! Love You Guys and it was Awesome seeing you all!!! Scotty and Tami

I am thinking more toward a Mexican Fiesta Friday instead of Stuffed Chicken Breast. Chicken and Beef Taco’s with Spanish Rice and Beans. It was a big hit at the Skydive Atlanta Halloween Boogie. Please remember folks, early sign up for dinners is critical for preparation. Love you guys and cant wait to see everyone!!!

Hey Don, We will have some new additions to the lunch menu: Philly Steak Sandwich (the real thing, Philly girl here), and a Homemade Chicken Waldorf Salad (grapes, cran-raisons, apples and pecans). Thursdays Dinner is gonna be up to Scotty b/c I am closing the bar Wednesday so I wont get home till 3am or 4am . I’ll have enough time to take a shower, load up the van and hopefully hit the road by 6am arriving in Fitz around 1 in the afternoon. By the time we get un packed and set up, my ass is gonna have a beer or 2 or 3 (ok lets be real) a lot more than that...then I am hitting the sack early to get ready to rock and roll for the weekend YEE-HAA! Friday Dinner I am thinking about Stuffed Boneless Chicken Breast Florentine (stuffed with spinach, bacon, onions, garlic and feta cheese) served over a bed of orzo pasta. Saturday is still up the air. Maybe Scotty’s Roasted Pork Loin Dinner. Requests are open for discussion??? Tami

Who said they were not getting good service?
-
Exactly….that change does add up at the end of the night and those coins are greatly appreciated!! I do a similar thing with change put into my jar…I say “CaChing” and giggle every time they put a coin in. They love it, and god forbid if I don’t say “CaChing”, they will stand there and wait for it. “It’s very cute”! I don’t expect BIG tips all the time. But I do expect to be treated as a hard working service provider. The bottom line is the good almost always make up for the bad! Tami

My bad...this is what I was agreeing with Reason being: the person who is tipping you better appreciates good service and treats you as a person who is working for a living. The person who is not tipping is “usually” the person who is very rude and also treats you like chewed up bubble gum on the bottom of their shoe. Tami

Not sure what post you are reading but I never said I expected a 100% tip. Actually I didn’t give any dollar amount. I work in a club which you have to be a member to be served. Drink prices are outrageously LOW: $1 drafts, $2 bottles, $1.75 margaritas specials, $2.50 wells, $3 calls, and $3.50 premiums. Why are the drinks so low? Because the members pay annual dues and we the bartenders work for tips. When I have 1 member standing there with their 8 guests (non members) in the front of the line chit chatting about “oh what should we have to drink”… holding UP THE LINE, then they finally order $34.75 in drinks and receive them fast and with a lovely smile, hand me $35.00 and promptly stick their quarter in their pocket and walk away! NICE HUH. Guess who waits next time they come up in line? BINGO the ugly ass non-tipper! As I said before if it is you I have just described “not saying it is”, train your dog how to serve you and stay at home!!! Sorry for the long winded strung out sentence above, but I have to go to work and take GOOD care of the people who take GOOD care of me. Tami PS: There is NOTHING wrong with NOT tipping every time you come up for a drink; it is the repeat offenders "One Who Never Leaves A Tip”, that I have a problem with.

Here's a good question: when a server or delivery guy says "do you want change?" how do you react? Tip jars - what do people think of those? Asking for tips is a forbidden thing as far as I am concerned. Expecting them for GOOD service is a different story. Not sure what things you are talking aboutQuote

That would be fun!!! I love her and US together...spells TROUBLE

Maybe it’s time to start selling your Squeaky Ass uptown instead of downtown . Kick it up a notch buttercup! Tami

Bartender here...and ditto (just got off my 10 hour shift of slinging the shit)! Tip me shitty and your ugly ass waits...period! Three deep in line and I see you, (THE GOOD TIPPER) standing back there waiting, your drink is gonna get made and I will flag you up front to come pick it up . I could give a shit about (THE SHITTY TIPPERS) who are in front! If you can’t afford to tip then “STAY THE FUCK AT HOME! BUY A CASE OF BEER OR BOTTLE AND ASK YOUR DOG TO BRING IT TO YOU! Of course each task and gesture is done with a smile “TIP OR NOT"! “NON-TIPPING FUCK TARDS SUCK ASS”! Take or leave it. I am a good and a much requested bartender regardless of how this post may sound to you Cheers, Tami PS: I am not venting am I
