  1. CO, NH, are a lot cheaper if you buy 20-50-100 hour, and fly it in a week. Not sure what the prices are, but is does get a lot cheaper if you get bigger groups together.
  2. Paraclete still has a GREAT crew!!!!! JW
  3. More than Friction, I think any motor(s) will produce more heat than you want. Think about the engine in your car sitting in the back seat. Even with the windows down, you are going to cook!! Seen this manager (not sure why crazy), dump a cup of water on the motor cover(when it was off), it was so hot, the water made a scream as it bounced off. That is pretty hot.
  4. I mis-spelll stuff all the time, but I dont think it makes anyone sick. R u just saying you dont like Olaf being called the "Godfather"?
  5. what is making us sick? cobras!!!
  6. Thats a good one!! 95% of some tunnels may NOT pin you any where. Every tunnel is much different at different percentages. I know it messes me up. Some will say "top it out". In some of the newer tunnels you just want to fly a minute or two before seeing what they have "under the hood". The Orlando/Perris stlye tunnel, you have to work to get to the top, and some of their flyers/instructors have banged those turning vanes at the top pretty hard(in the newer recirculated tunnels).
  7. Yeah, I mean more so, like, what have we learned as tunnel flyers, that we could pass on. I saw this video of a lady doing a belly to belly back loop, and fell (very hard) on her head. She was okay, yet, I thought "doesn't everyone know that at belly speeds you can not tuck a back loop and stay on level". So, I think people ask how to prep for tunnel time?, and I think lots of people could learn from our mistakes. Like check the wind speed before you jump in. I have learn that one..... several times.
  8. I think flyers should know... how much altitude they could loose when trying a "Belly to Belly" front or back flip transition. Hello net!! What else could help a flyer better understand how to keep themselves safe? JW
  9. He is getting more than just "stable HD", he is getting in shape, he is having fun, and he is working towards understanding how the body flys HD(instead of just flying HD), and is working towards flying "slot perfect" and will get a lot of time in the tunnel flying in vertical formations. Then later can split the time with 8 - 10 other flyer$. All for the sport!
  10. Harry you may just need to start a support group, you know, for you addicts.
  11. , somebody has HD on the mind?
  12. Justin from Team Future!!! I like to think of him as "Tunnel Ninja" Cause he will kick yo arse in the tunnel. JW
  13. Those people he fired deserved it!!!!!!! Cause they are great people.
  14. I will be there Feb. 5-12. At John Hollys
  15. Thanks man! Justin is just on his head too much, and blood is rushing in too many different directions.
  16. NOT TWINS??? Ethan is 2.5 yrs old.
  17. I am sure he works there(Justin?)!!! I did have a baby boy!!! He is the love of my life!! Aidan Channeller Winters 8lbs 8oz. and Ethan Tyler Winters (age 2.5) I have had a couple weeks off, and back to work(Justin!)!!! I do leave to New Hampshire tomorrow, for a week, then I come back to work at XP for 2 weeks, then go to Colorado for a week, home for a few days, then to Russia for 2 weeks.
  18. They flew really low wind speed, an you can get a lot of STYLE out of that, and these guys were, they really know that wind!! I like that "First Generation" STYLE. This one dude had a protect, with a chin protector, he wore sweat shirt and baggy pants. I knew he was fittin-ta "lay it down"!!!!
  19. Some guys from Flyaway came by and flew a couple of days ago. I did not talk to them, I left before they got out. They looked as if they were having fun, but I was hoping to get a chance to ask them how everything went??????
  20. I THOUGHT THE ONE IN THE RED WAS A WOMAN!
  21. Yeah, like Jewels said, very nice. Good control. When you get time to work on "Range of Motion", try to fly your hands and knees closer together, the more together they are the more unstable you will fly. Later you will see that, you can fly with them closer together, and they can be stronger together when you need that kind of power. Hopes this helps!! Joe
