" Nope..weight does`nt matter if you do mass-jump from ex..the famous potato bridge in TF...but if you hiking for 3-4(for some 4-5) hours twice a day for real bigwalljumping...every saved gram counts...

i know 5 of my BASE friends would jump in this windcondition...i don`t partificate in theyre jumps much more...i think they are taken way to much risk...i hope they make it in the long run

i would keep that damn canopy if i was you..everytime i was downsized from a canopy to another i jump the first 5-10 jump on a small dropzone on a medium windy day...pull high10-12000feet..play around the sky with your canopy..test it really hard..using front/rear-riser, stall it..colaps it..get used with it while you are in the sky..then you could get back to your home DZ...it worked for me..

well..my original travel plan was from 26-30april..but it turns out to crash with my work..plus i will have a surgery(moving some hardware)after that.. So my planed BASE trip to ITW is extended to maybe november some time...

yes i know trango isn`t recommended for slider off/down...but i can`t see why not using s-links for slider off...when their stronger..beside that it will given you a fit removing it if you gonna by some reason remove the canopy...

I order soft links on my new Trango, soft links are stronger...but not so easy to remove if you gonna remove the canopy...

Ok..i realized that the hole idea with fine mesh slider is a mess, i talk to my rigger about it and he told me basically the same as you guys..so i live with my "slow" opening...but thanks for the replies....

yea... collapse a permeable slider sound silly..but are you serious about mounting a fine mesh slider will ripped my chute?? you can buy Black Jack and Flik`s with 0-P top skin as an option..and their jumping these chutes with fine and large mesh sliders...

I jump a Sabre2-135(loaded1.4)..and i`m quit pleasant with these chute..but i dont like the openings...it`s so freaking slow. I don`t rolling the nose or anything..i drop 800-900feet everytime after i pitch the pilot.. i have thinking about asking my rigger to build me a finemesh colapsable slider so it will open little bit faster, maybe a bigger pilot aswell..using a large mesh maybe is too much..... I`m used to jump with large mesh for terminaljump in BASE... Have somebody done these thing with they`re Sabre`s with great success... "Yes i know some probably will say..BUY A Sabre1..i jump that before and i really like those chutes, but the second edition flies much better.." One more thing...lots of people told me that to low wingload cause closed endingcells...what wingload do i need get rid of that problem???
