Yea, don't normally care how people spell stuff in an internet forum setting, but I see so many people use "gel" when what they are thinking (trying to say) would be more suited to "jell". Was just pointing that out, trying to edumacate the masses.

I know I am going to get my butt kicked for going up against a professional editor, but what the hell, it's Friday. Jell is the more appropriate word in the context that E150 was using it in. See below. Gel: intransitive verb: to change into or take on the form of a gel Jell: verb: to take shape and achieve distinctness : become cohesive I don't think that E150's ex-other was meaning that they should break up because because the two of them didn't "change into or take on the form of a gel". Oh, and Mirriam-Webster is my source for those definitions.

That's an interesting theory but I am pretty sure it is more involved than just being afraid that person might shoot you. Probably has something to do with ages of socio-cultural development.

Maybe that has something to do with the fact that you aren't supposed to tip in Europe because the tip is already included. So it doesn't matter how crappy your service is, cause they are getting their tip regardless.

I disagree. What is best for you, might not be the easiest pill for someone else to swallow. Sure she might not have liked it but if it was something that you felt was right for your then it was the right thing to do. If you spend your whole life only doing things that won't upset someone else in some way, then you aren't going to be doing much. If you feel bad about something like this because it might have hurt someone elses feelings, then it wasn't necessarily the wrong thing to do, it just means that you aren't a cold hearted bastard.
