Mr. Terrific motivated me to build my first wingsuit. It was made from cardboard, clothesline and my pyjama jacket. The first test jumps I have done from a cupboard 6 ft. high. I never used a parachute and the landing area was my bed. The wings obviously delayed my fall speed. My aunt catched me just before I was going to make my first base jump out of the window 2nd floor (the situation was similar to Jeb Corliss problems on Empire State Building). They seperated the wings from my pyjama and destroyed them. They kept an eye on me, so I think they already spied for Birdman or somebody else. There was no time to loose for me, I was already 7 years old. It is very difficult to say how many Ws-pilots (more than 25 jumps per year) on the world,maybe 350-400,but my experience is:more than 3 birds on a dz make the other jumpers start thinking about. A bit like a chain-reaction. 5 years ago we was 3 now we 20 birds here in marl. People start skydiving now, just to become a bird. In 3 years there will be 5 times more than now,in case there not to much Ws-related accidents before. Easy to say-nobody can proof

respect Jarno-very well done . . .but you have to put a bit more shame on yourself ,Fly your body was one of the first.I think it will be better to change for further I am sure the weight is not that important-there many example for that. We have had tests,Ive had up to 12kg lead on me but the time results was the same-6kg at the feet (balancing)enhance the time. I`ve got two old skyflyer2 exactly same size-just a bit different material,but the performance is absolut not the same. Now the reason why I have to make that clear : our competitions 3 times(wings over marl)was and is absolutely fair-be sure,we proof that the different weight is one of the smallest points for judgement,and if not it will be also effect distance and artistics[pirate relax Jarno,a bit more experience (competentione). . .so you find it out by yourself I wish luck,good results and all the best for your competition

Hi Guy´s I´ve sorted out everything : for wingsuit-pilots from Netherlands, (they must be owner of a valid passport) it will be legal to jump wooden shoes(clogs) in the competition! For safety reason they have to fill about 50 ml woodglue in the competition-clogs. It is not allowed to fit wheels to the clogs and try to land a wingsuit without a total inflated parachute. For Mr.Corliss we will make an exception.

I´ve done some bionics. My first paper model of this wing concept amazed our simple minds when we made the first flight tests. I´m busy with too many projects and there is no easy way for us to develop a wingsuit on that model at the moment. I also got plans for two different wing structures (bionic science), which I like to combinate: 1. Electrostatic airfoil via "living strings" (intregration of moving synthetic fibre strings in air cells) The concept from flies when they create electrostatic energy by scrubbing their legs and transfer it to their wings. 2. Surface in micro mushroom structure (I don´t eat them ) Every wingsuit manufactor with enough experience in 3D flexibles is welcome to work with us

yes yes yes, and now analyse why . . . I look at my self: 1999 we (Danni/myself) started to plan a wingsuit, the people, we tried to share our ideas, were snobishly arogant. In 2000 in Cape Town, Graham (first Birdman instructor of SA) introduced me to Jari as the crazy one, who is so stupid to think, that he is also able to make a wingsuit. Jari don´t understood the joke and took me serious and we had a long conversation and I shared my ideas with him. About one of my ideas, he said: we can´t sell a suit to jumpers, where there is the need to change the gear. I understood and agreed. I talked to the people who made the Sugarglider (Shaun etc.), after they talked to Loic, and they listened. GS1- Maria listened to them. When I survived my first prototype WS in 2002 , it looks a bit like a mix from GS1 and Mach1, Anton from Skydive CT, helped me to change my gear. It is too dangerous, to need to go on your back, to grap the thing, than back to the belly and pull When I posted news (changeable wings/ semi rigid wings/ grip loops/ etc.), what I already tested, I allways had to fight and I´m too old for this shit. I know in history, thousand of examples: Ignaz Semmelweiß/ Tucker/ DeLorean . . . I will not change the world that much. hi,this time is the first time I ask before I try...do you think it,s possible to fit a 30m nylon rope with certain safety quick release stuff for last ws-pilot connected to tail-exit plane\chestbelt+flying above the aircraft for long time and distance---behind a offshore boat with my manta(inflatable wing 1,5²m) it works,so why not up there.?

I´ve got a simple mind but i think some of your advises can result in serious injury or death to sell drugs is not legal.so the money you earn is not legal,so it is not legal if you buy jet-engines from the money!
