    i have a sabre 150. like you i was very anxious. i tell you one thing: the way i pack is a malfunction waiting to happen. i roll EVERYTHING, from nose to stabilizers, push both of 'em as far as possible. flake it really good, and yes, slider needs to be quartered nicely and kept in position all the way during your packjob. i get snivels for quite long, sometimes i think its 900ft or so. havent had a hard opening so far. neat packjob is essential. the guy that sold it to me, made me pack it about twenty times to get it right. our student-canopies were balances 210's and 230's. those slammed me more than once, so much i took pills for the pain to continue aff.. i know, not a good thing, i was told off by my instructor at the time.. i love my sabre! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     just been to that dropzone again. of course i was asked again to wingsuit! and no, i didnt! just watched as other jumpers with unknown (to them, i know, we're a small country..) jump-#'s were approached the same style..! now i have one question. since you guys are obviously are all top-notch pilots n'everything, how is it possible that a mate ordered a WS with the manufacturer directly, that didnt even have my #'s at the time? he still doesnt! besides the point, its NOT a prodigy. but a phantom! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     one of the first things thaught to me by my mate and instructor, a guy with 11'000+ skydives: "whereever skydiving takes ya': its ALWAYS FUN!!" out of this enormous number, about 6'000 were tandems.. the best skydiver is not the guy turning the most points, its the guy having the most fun! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.     yea, the pay doesnt look too good. but gaining experience is kinda invaluable, isnt'it!? i mean in the way of becoming a better skydiver n'all.. teaching skills, a very different approach to a daily job that is anything but 08/15, fun and enjoyment of the customers you get to share with them.. must be insideous, here's only one tunnel and about 4 major dropzones.. plus a couple of smaller ones. since i'm fed up with corporate life.. this sounds like a huge opportunity! just trying to assess if it was for me tough.. i'm not really a patient guy. teached snowboarding to a couple of GF's, they all hated me during that time but became quite reasonable snowboarders themselves in the long run.. since i started skydiving, that could have changed. that teached me a lot of patience, to say the least! and a couple of other things too.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S.
