Well...i done a search and as far as i know, there`s no school/instruction or similar course here in norway for groundlaunching(only paragliding and hangliding)...thats why i ask question over web..... i have to start at one point.. Sounds like it's time for a Vacation to the States..... Maybe i will!!!

ok, i then think it maybe was another pendulator i saw in that video. is there any video where the pendulator is shown? maybe on skydivingmovies.com? have you got some pictures of the pendulator in kjerag you could post here? Sorry i dont have any pictures, but maybe the stavanger BASE crew have one they can share? www.basekjerag.com Here`s a little story from my FJC in kjerag: I took this FJC a couple of years ago, and when i come to that part when we should practise the pendulator jump, mine instructor Elin(a lightweighted sweet girl)took a test jump before i did..Im very happy she didit before me.. because Elin almost impact ..(the rope who went from tree to tree wasn`t thight enought)if i hade made that jump(im 165lbs i dont know here`s weight but she`s much lighter than i am)i would have impact the ground from 9or10meters.. I could come on Nick`s list BEFORE i made my real BASEjump..

So far I see no dribble in this thread. At 310 jumps I wouldn't recommend a XF2 to this jumper anyway, regardless of loading. There are better canopies to be on at this stage of the progression (Safire2, Sabre2, etc) It is possible that this guy may not have his profile updated... and he have much more jumps than 310.. Not true. I know people who've had spinning XF2 cutaways. That, of course, does not mean it doesnt fly well in linetwists. Most canopies do as long as the pilot has kept the harness input level. OK..there is a mountain where i have done alots of BASEjumping..here is a long steep hill who goes to the exit..my plan is to groundlaunch with ski from the top of the hill outfly the cliff and fly close to the mountain..This exit have been used by skiBASEr`s..but i dont have the balls to do that ..yet...

will it be safe to use skydivecanopy and ski? (ex.Sabre2 135) if so i will have a project going on later this winter here in norway..

I haw flew wingsuit for a couple of years ago(all birdman.. classic and S3), and i will buy my self a new one..going for the S-Fly suit. My plan is to jumping big E`s with this suit, but i will used skydiving as a workbench before i showing the trolls my new toy.. I will not loaded mine Sabre more than 1.4..but you say you jumping a 97!! wow..PD recomanded a WL not more than 1.6, but i guess you know what you are doing...

awesome response. it takes me an hour to climb our 450' A. every 60' or so there's a platform and i stop at every one of them to rest, assess, and ask myself what the fuck am i doing

As far as I know, the pendulator in Lysebotn is the biggest one that is in regular use. The ones I've built have all been smaller. You don't really need very much freefall to evaluate a student's exit. With practice, you can tell in pretty much the first 2 feet if it's scary, just fine, or kind of in the middle. It's the scary ones that most need the pendulator. In my experience, that's about 1 student in 5, with 2 more being in the middle, so the pendulator is helpful, and the last 2 pretty much nailing the exit from the first try. The cool thing about the pendulator in kjerag is that you can train for exit in pure tracking position..the pendulator is 9 or 10meters high..its not only for beginners..

My 242 is what i jump in BASE..this disiplines is what i`m focused in the last 2-3 year..i have skydived since 99..I have 550+jumps from planes..and my last canopy(skydive) was a stiletto 135.. I have done only 35-40 skyjumps in the last 2 year. But i desided to pick up my skydiving again , so i buy my self a conservative maincanopy..

I get my brand new Sabre 135 in few days, and i have never fly this canopy in this size before..only SABRE2 170-190 and Sabre1 150 and 120..the store who sold me this canopy told me this was a great alround canopy..Now.. a lots of skydivers told me this canopy is almost a crapy chute..is this canopy getting worse by age? i mean..when this chute came out for few years ago, this was almost a state of the art canopy..I know this is not a swooping canopy, but thats not i`m wanna buy either..

Maybe this could be the answer?http://www.anklejoint.com/content/newsletter_details.asp?ArticleID=6 I have a 25cm long metal plate in my ankle/leg(after a cliffstrike) fastened with 14 screws..luckily for me this ankle will not be fused..but it has cost me a lots of pain and training to come back where i am now,the doctor will remove this hardware at this spring..the same doc will also remove the hardware in both of my elbows in januar.. 7 life to go!!

Hey Martin! Are you jumping your wingsuit with this 293 or do you have another rigg for this purpose..i mean...its must be a lot off drag in this large container.. I have see you fly wingsuit in romsdalen..so if you using this 293 i can see no reason that i will jump my "small"FLIK 242..

OK! with my old DW245 i done mostly terminaljumps(20+sec) and i found this canopy very reliabily(one 180 thats it!) and the flare was much better than my new FLIK...but maybe this change with less wing loading..im not a experience jumper(only 100jumps)so i will keep this in mind, but i think i will givit a try.. Thanks guys!

Im considering buying a new canopy for low/subterminaljumps. Im now jumping a vented FLIK242 for terminal. I have lay my eyes on a TROLL DW285..(PIA spec.301)i see morpheus recommend a average body weight 225lbs...my weight is 165lbs(without equipment).Is there someone here with my bodyweight who have experience with this canopy/size?How will that infected on the canopy?..(in turbulence..opening...)I don`t have any experience with such big canopy..i have 80jumps on a TROLL DW245 but this is 40squarefot bigger.. The reason for choising this size is that i can land in more tight area(between big rocks etc) GAME ON
