    so my roommate has been sitting here for like a good hour trying to figure out why his wireless net routher wasnt working. Im sitting onthe couch watching a movie laughing at him. He had the modem turned off....and he's sitting there wondering why theres no internet connection on mine or his computer...lol. The warning comes after an investigation involving several airmen who were solicited "specific information" via MySpace.com about RAF Lakenheath in the past several months. With the advent of sites such as MySpace.com and other social networking Websites, OSI agents are concerned that America's adversaries are taking their quest for information online.     i would agree with you too. i took my fjc 4 weeks ago but remember it like it was yesterday..and the instructor did go over the basic dynamics of the canopy..everything for the design of the ram air chute to the different stages of opening..to the airflow directions once the canopy is fully inflated. He told us that you fly forward due to the different lengths in the lines...as somone already pointed out. He didnt say anything about going backward though...im assuming becasue as students we shoudlnt be doing that anyway!     Alot like you gail it has taught me to live life on the edge. We really dont know when it will time our time to go. Thats what got me to skyive the first time. I always told myself that i wanted to do it before i died. At the time i did my tandem i slated to go to iraq...so i wanted to do it before i left. I did it..then found out that i wasnt actually going...so then i decided to take it up as a sport and havent looked back!     ok..im going to say this..and i know it is based in a movie..but the theory is sound. Does anyone remember the movie Rambo First blood part 2? Specifically when he is jumping into vietnam with all his gear...his line gets stuck and he is repeatidly slammed against the aircraft...im thinking it would be the same type of setup.     Is this safe? I have a guy at work that is considering taking up the sport but his only transporation is his motorcycle. Is there a safe way to do it? any other riders out there take their rig on thier bike. Im also looking into buying a sport bike again so i can use the information also. Thanks in advance!     yeah i wasnt worried about getting the return back right away till i did my level 1 aff..then i wanted it right then so i could knock out the other 6 jumps...lol. Its all good though. I would rather wait an extra week or so then spend 60-120 paying someone to do them.     i watched it last night..i caught the very end...the one with the chick that "tried" to sing mamalade. omg..my reactionwas that of the judges..jsut sitting there with my jaw dropped wondering how the hell she had the courage to go on national television jsut to make a complete fool of herself.     i know this goes without being said but make sure you check the gear out before you jump it..no telling what they could have done while it was in their possession. Im glad you got some fo it back..at least the higher priced items.     Your best bet is to locate all the dz's in your area by going thgrough the "dropzones" link at the top of the screen. I can imagine jersey being that great to jump in at this time of year..weather wise anyway.     There were numerous reasons...thats just the one i remember most. Ill say the same thing i said in that thread......this is already a dangerous sport...let not do anything to increase the danger level!     There was a thread about this posted like 2 months ago. The general consensus was that its not safe becasue it distacts you from the other canpoy traffic especially in the landing pattern.
