Whew!!! I made a 94 over all in the class and got a 92 on my final last night. I now have 3 weeks off before the "HARD" semster starts. I felt like crying last night, this has been something so far.... going thru a divorce, working full time, single mom of three and going to school to be an EMT. I can however see the light at the end of the tunnel and this is all going to be so worth it!!!

I think its a great idea. I tend to have a big heart towards people who are down on their luck. But I have had negative encounters when trying to be helpful. I once bought a lady a pair of shoes becuase she was all over town in flip flops and walked with a limp. She was very nasty (attitude) towards me and said if I wanted to help her, just give her money. Had a simaler thing happen when I bought a McDonalds meal for a man. I don't mind helping them, but I wont give them money for alcohol.

I was born in a yucky mid-western state but lived in Florida from the age of 2 weeks until I moved to Texas to go to college in 96. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a degree in Business Management and a minor in accounting. I was a stay at home mom until 2001 and worked part time until 2004. Now that all of my kids are in school I am finally working in my degree field as an Event Registrar for the Methodist Conference in Florida. Love my job, but have come to realize that I hate being indoors and am currently back in school to be an EMT. I graduate this May, but my ultimate goal is to become a flight nurse!

You are a good person, and offer so much to many people, including and most importantly your son. I have had some pretty bad things happen in my life, both by choices I have made and there have been things that I had no control over. I agree with Skymama on the accident, if you have not been charged, its not your fault. I can see how this might be very depressing and hard to deal with. Please seek out grief counseling. There are good services available for people in the medical field. While this may not fall into the exact description of CISD, the grief that came with it does, and the counselors are available for you. Try not ( as hard as it may be) to not focus on the negative. Look at all the blessings that surround you, your son for one and your many many good friends. I have struggled with depression my entire life, and when I am in "self-destruct" mode per se, I drink too much and do things that I later beat myself up for, for a long time. This too shall pass, you might not be able to see the end of the tunnel now, but its there. Your surrounded by friends who love you. We are here for you...

I have had both male and female bosses in the past and I have also been a supervisor. I have had bad bosses of both genders. I currently have a female boss and I love her! She is so awesome. We have a great co-worker relationship and out of work as well. She even keeps my kids for me from time to time so I can go out. I feel very lucky to have worked for her for the past 1.5 years!
