Can someone post a pic of Louie Loops, or a couple of detailed pics? I know UPT's website used to have them, but I can't find them anymore. I want to SEE, not read about what they are. Thanks in advanced (still combing old forums for pics.) ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

Been looking for them just as an example (was telling students about them). I saw a few in a gear store once but cannot find them anywhere online. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? It's a piece of metal w/ some hardcore plastic teeth that you strap to your legstraps so you don't need weights. Please point me somewhere where I can get one and show to someone else. Thanks. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

I actually have bad news about the gear storage. If done "correctly" according to Federal/State park regulations...the confiscations are incinerated, and in a VERY short amount of time. My uncle is a Federal Park Ranger and he said that most of the time it's only that way (the law) for the states w/ something jumpable w/in the park (any B.A.S.E.). He informed me of this when he found out I was a skydiver, but also told me how he thought it was BS (cuz they don't just incinerate rigs, but bikes for illegal biking, skateboards, blah blah blah), but he enjoyed watching the jumping, and after they would land (if he was on the scene), he'd come up, congratulate/thank for the entertainment, and then encourage an expedited exit before more than just him shows up... Yay for my uncle, gay for the laws... ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

Haha, thanks. This is going to decide who's president. I've spoken w/ the Electoral College, and they said they'd just take the results from this poll instead of getting all formal...so Dizzy dot cOM is going to decide. Now change my damn grade!!! ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

Wasn't sure if this was legal, but it's worth a shot. Keeping it anonymous (unless you decide to post). Getting some stats on jumpers. I'm not a SC poster, just a browser, but am using this for an Social Sciences project (I should've known better than to take a Social Sciences class during election year). Mods, scrap this if it ain't right, but atleast PM me for why, thanks. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

HP Canopy Comparison: Katana vs Cobalt
iambeav2 replied to iambeav2's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
After many counts of forum lurking AND searching, I have not found a thread that seriously brakes down just the differences b/w a Cobalt (either Comp or non Comp) and the PD Katana. Can I just get feedback on these 3 canopies (Katana, Cobalt, Comp Cobalt). I promise I've searched, and the 2 (and/or 3) have not been directly compared, always compared with numerous other canopies. Wing loading is 1.4 on a 150 and I currently fly the Katana. Please offer your input and if I have overlooked the thread I am looking for, please post it and shut the thread. Thanks guys. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you! -
Compared to the Neptune 2, other than the glass/aluminum casing and usb/rechargeable, what's the diff in fxnality? ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

Right you are, do I NEED vertical stills? No. This was just my brainstorming...as of right now, I'm 100% happy w/ standard Landscape shots. Was just looking at sizes and what not. But thanks man, I sent that link to Gio to see if it helps him answer any of my ?'s as well. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

There is no huge box, it's just a plate w/ the converter on the bottom. The deal w/ the plates is they flush the camera w/ the top of the helmet, where as the locks from RRS and the sorts lift it (a few cm's, obviously, but a bit of lift none-the-less). Which picture looked like the huge box? And also, I lurk the Photo forums like hell, and respect your opinion's among the highest (take the brown nose for what it's worth). But still, I'm not concerned w/ it fitting in a box (no box here), but rather the distance from the edge of the base to the screw attachment point. Does this make sense? ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

I first off love my Tonfly CC1. Though so far away, the service available to me is superb. What I have is a few questions for the camera guru's here... I am getting a Canon XSi in the near future and am going to get the plate from Tonfly installed on my helmet. They offer the plates for the XTi and since the XSi is relatively new, the plates aren't listed. My question is this... Would you guys suggest that anything physically encompassing the 400D also fit the 450D? Pictures attached, but are used w/ the 350D and/or 400D. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!

Can Sony HDD camcorders now be used for skydiving?
iambeav2 replied to frost's topic in Photography and Video
The only input I have on this, is I bought an sr80 in 2006 and even back then (a whoping 2 years ago) it had that in the owner's manual. As soon as I saw that, I got a goldmember for that bitch...for nothing. So even then, the manual still said that, and even now, the problem still exists on one's I've seen! ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you! -
:5.5:1 First Cutaway, and not to mention first cutaway of my DZ...so does that mean they owe ME beer? ALSO TO MENTION, IT WAS MY RIGGERS FIRST SAVE!!! He's a Rigger in training, and it was his first popped reserve, out of a few hundred! Congrats to him. ...it's not the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone...it's the fact that you don't appreciate what you have until someone appreciates it for you!
