Hello you bunch of beautiful americans, Whats the nearest airport... (i'm flying from the mother land / Great Britain) Anyone fancy picking me up and introducing me to the dz. I'm planning a month stay or so, anyone got accomidation to rent, Caravan, or flat , or spare room.. I've gone bankrupt and lost my buisness this week, boo hoo!!!, but its time to get over that and jump and party like never before... AS always thank you in advance....

A big thanks to Christophe balisky, who has recently allowed me to link up with him in gap and put me on the road to becoming a slightly less dangerous crw flyer... I had an awsome time, 11 jumps or so in total, 5 x 2 ways and 6 x 3 ways. I have not had such a buzz from skydiving for a while now, but this was just like jumping again for the first time. One of the coolist things about the 4 days, was he was pissed off for me that i could not get near him in the sky, due to me forgetting everything on a jump, But when i wrapped him whilst docking 3rd on my 8th jump, on landing all you could here was laughter coming from his direction, and then a hand on the shoulder telling me to try and not kill him on the next jump. He's one cool MF and looked after us both in the sky, and after jumping, letting us crash and eat at his house after a long day, with out batting an eyelid. This is the reason i started skydiving, and after 2 years i had almost lost my belief that there was any real community left in this sport. Christophe thanks very much, to yourself and your wife, your both amazing ambassador's to this sport. Its a shame your french / american / ??? I hope you realize what you have created... its a bit scary

It’s still so close..... I'd like to thank all the Californians for their invites, for partying and jumping, sometimes this community does rock. it looks like it's going to be Chicago, due to the voting system that I had put in place....and I am a man of my word after all.... however I’m going to book another trip out to the states at end July early august, so hopefully those invites will still be valid, Californians seem to rock.. Open house at my gaff if any of you come this way, it’s a big gastro pub, loads of rooms to crash in, middle of Buckinghamshire, 30 mins form a dz.

wow looks like chicago has the biggest majority so far. funny as i lived there in 1999 but never thought about skydiving during that time. it would be good to go back.. now then all i need are some people to jump with, proividing that is the final winner. Andy, I agree, that the bpa has some pretty dumb stuff, it has some pretty cool stuff as well. Wearing helmets which have little to no crash protection in them but making them mandatory. or being able to wear a frap hat instead?? ffs but mandatory flight line checking is a good thing, does it add to people becoming complaicent.. i don't know. you know ,i know, we all know the good the bad the ugly... I think that people should take there own choices once quallified, say 200 jumps or something. Who knows. this thread is quite old anyway.

I love it when you americans start harping on about safety issues. In 7 days of jumping in the states last year, i saw so many things which i thought were plain stupid / dangerous / ill thought out. But you weigh up these things in your own mind, and decide whether to stay and jump or not. Your lawsuit culture is really starting to bite you on the ass out stateside. I'm going to hit lodi this year for a couple of weeks, it sounds like my sort of place.

I still don't get it!!! i understand the seperation issues, uppers lowers, verticle speed, but... Here's the clever bit. You are asuming that everyone on the load in a 3D play enviroment is going to fall at x speed, but will not slide to the y pattern Unless they have there yellow suit on in which case they will slide Z amount lets hope they don't go flat half way through their jump. or there altis out. Or the have to break away early or just pull to high / or low Or its me and my flat is as fast as your sit, or my sit is as fast as your flat thats quite a lot of varibles. I'm going to study this more, i don't think there is an awnser regarding this. Tell the other guy to go fuck himself, he should not have pulled higher than agreed on the flight line, he could have killed someone Also by the next day no one will ever remember the particular incident where nothing happened.

well gary as long as your happy, i'm happy. Its not a gripe its an observation. the rule i'm putting out us, Don't fuck with me, you'll have to kill me b4 i give up. Its princables thats all, i would not let anyone mess with me face to face, i would rather take the whole lot of them down then allow that. When do you let it go, you may ask, once i get the thing i'm looking for, which is a public apology to anyone and everyone effected, i got mine, but that's not good enough? they owe it to all. you may think thats extreme, but i don't get in small shitty planes for the view.
