I would like to say that I love my suit but I can't because I still haven't gotten it & can't get ahold of anyone to find out where it is or when it will be done. I ordered it 10 weeks ago now & was promised a 6 week deadline. There phone number is out of order that's on their website & they don't answer their emails. Paid through paypal & I'm not sure how I can dispute it since they say that you can only dispute something that's 45 days from payment day (obviously this has passed). It would seem that I'm out $200 right now. I'm at a loss really & hope someone out there can help. Does anyone have another contact # besides what's on the website? If so can you PM me please? Revision - found an Email address to write to through pay pal. Got in touch w/Ed & he's been very helpful since. I did receive my suit. Although a little short in the torso for my liking it is a very nice looking suit & looks to be made well. Ed has volunteered to rectify the problem of it being too short as well at no cost to myself.

Why don't skydiver's like Vegas Style Tunnels?
cyn replied to NewClearSports's topic in Wind Tunnels
it's the same cost as a skyventure tunnel (or more expensive) and they don't offer skydiver discounts. For a less powerful tunnel it doesn't make much sense. Not the mention the 3x 1 minute intervals - blocks purchased in 3 minutes. How can anyone learn that way? Maybe it works great for people who work there because you get 10 minutes of fun time. You don't have to pay a penny & you get a full 10 mins of time in 1 shot. Doesnt work that way for other people. Before you ask, yes I called. I'll still try it out hoping its not as bad as I imagine in my head, but so far it doesnt sound so fantastic. It seems as though its completely geared toward tourist and they don't want skydivers there. If they did, they would bother to develop a better program for them. Just my thoughts. wow guys. maybe the reason why he/she created an anonymous profile is because he/she was afraid this might happen and he/she might not be able to go back to the tunnel at some other time without having an even worse experience than they had the first time they were there. You guys jumped all over this person for having an opinion about a bad experience and you don't even know what the situation is. My response to you - "zig zag". Judging from what everyone has said so far - sounds like a one time bad experience or a misunderstanding. I've only dealt with the staff (i dont know if they're owners or not) over the phone & via email so far - my tunnel time is scheduled for next week. But I have found them to be very friendly and helpful. I'm sure if you give it another shot with an open mind, you'll have a different experience. Keep in mind you get what you give usually. So if you're friendly and have a willingness to learn & understand, you'll usually get that type of attitude back. Of course, some people are just total pubes and you can't do anything about them. Thanks for your help guys. I guess I'll just call them and see what we can work out. Wish me luck. "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body"

So I'm still a student and working towards my solo but having a little bit of trouble maintaining stability in free fall. So I know the solution is some tunnel time where someone can see what i'm doing wrong & correct it. over and over and over.... Anyways I'm going to New Hampshire (because it's closest - I live in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) on May 20th and staying for a few days. Tunnel time is so expensive so I really have to make the best use of what time I have. Can anyone recommend anything I should be doing or someone I should be talking to/training with while I'm down there? I don't want to so anything that I can only do in the tunnel. That gets me nowhere. So whoever I'm spending time with in there needs to be an actual skydive instructor/coach so I can learn the real deal. Anyone? Anyone? Sunday!!! Me too!! I finally got a day off from my serving job on Sunday so I'm headed out to PST and hoping for blue skies and not too much cold. They're open all winter for the mental cases (like me and maybe you) who want to jump still in the cold. I didn't last year because i was too much of a wuss but I think I'll have to "man up" this year. My Brother is in the Canadian forces and loves it. (not a paratrooper or anything though) Currently stationed the bustling metropolis of Pettawa (moved from Edmonton recently). It's been a great way for him to travel and see the world. You might like it for that reason, but you may find it's a problem with relationships. If you're not interested in anything long term it's probably fine, but if you are it's hard. Since you could get a great position at another base across the country (like he did). His gf went with him, but it could have easily gone the other way. Good luck! I'm new to dropzone.com but have been skydiving since Oct '05. Unfortunately there are things holding me back from progressing - none of which are my love of skydiving. Just like everyone else - time, money and weather are the big ones. I never even knew dropzone.com existed until I started looking for a used altimeter. What an awesome place! Anyways - a little about me. I live in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada - yes that's why the weather is holding me back). Have 2.5 jobs - 1 as a marketing coordinator and the other as a waitress in a restaurant. The partial job is some side work building websites and doing some graphics for extra cash. I'm no professional, but I do the work for less money than they do and it's decent. :D When I have time to I skydive at Parachute School of Toronto in Baldwin Ontario. I absolutely love it there. The people are so awesome and fun to be around. The instructors are super nice. Just not enough time to go. If there was an 8th day of the week and a 25th hour in the day I'd be all over it! Anyway - nice meeting you all "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body"
