Many thanks to all replies - Still keen to get the open face, RH side of helmet mount, but, as a consequence of your advice likely to go for a D-box style mount. Blueskies R

Scene setting first -I currently teach static line, dispatching from a door on left of fusealage. My vision is to get an entirely open face (ie without chin piece moulded to the helmet) helmet and mount a camcorder (hopefully sony 1000) on the right side of the helmet (thereby giving better picture of student exiting aircraft). My question is can it be done (does RH side mount cause problems with any other kit - esp deployment?) and what helmets are suitable (Skydance Scion and Arrow II are the only ones that look suitable and the later only because the twin ditter mount looks big enough to fix an L bracket). Of course i plan to use the kit for FF videoing also. Any suggestions/ideas and views welcome. Many thanks in advance R1ch
