    Now there's an oxymoron if I've ever seen one! There's a Hicksville on Long Island?!? Usually when we think of a Hicksville, it's in the deep south. Actually the loud mouth new yorker's didn't really know who hicks were. They were called hillbilly's. I know the name sounds funny..... but its right next to levittown. you guys know that right?     My mom used to beat the shit out of me. I would Cringe anytime she recieved a new housewear item a.k.a weapon. Anything from a Wooden Spoon, Belt, Leather Sandel, Fly Swatter, Spatula etc. If I was in fact guilty of my crime, yes the beating straigtened me out; however I was mostly accused and punished and beaten for things i didn't do. My sister would blame her crimes on me and my mom would beat the crap out of me. It sucked. Thats why i moved out at 16 and paved my own way through life. I'll always remember a quote my mother said to me " It's not like I put your hand on the stove" OH thanks mom.
