    Your right you cant argue with the numbers. The numbers say the Sabre2 is one of the top jumped canopies today. When you have that many of them out there, there will be more people talking about it (good or bad) than say a Storm (which hasent necessarily been around long enough to develop a complete picture) If you are not concerned with flight characteristics, only openings, I would get a Spectre. I wouldnt modify the slider though-they (usually) open plenty slow. BASE 1384

    lol me too! to the OP, it could be that you hear more stories of slammers on the Sabre family, because between the two, there is a SHIT load of them being jumped. The pocket slider on my Sabre1 makes it open absolutely perfect. I never actually jumped it without the mod, didnt feel it was worth waiting to see if I would need it BASE 1384

    Two of these instructors didn't downsize from their first canopies for almost 1000 jumps and have encouraged others to do the same. Well yea....thats why they have to buy really small canopys for their first ones! BASE 1384

    Lay your rig out like you were going to pack it. Rotate the container 360 degrees in line with your risers and lines (e.g. grab the BOC and pull it up over the yoke and keep going). You now have a stepthrough. Don't forget to take it back out. :) So whats a flip through? BASE 1384

    I packed my buddy a stepthrough earlier this year. Oops. Definatly not my normal course of action, but it still happend. This is skydiving. You want to make damn sure you dont have a step through.....DONT SKYDIVE. pussy. BASE 1384
