Oakley Jawbone Prescription Sunglasses
JohnnyD replied to Boris73's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've made a lot of jumps in Oakleys. Only regret was having a tandem student jump straight up in the door and scrape them off my head. Expensive jump. My wife has prescription Oakleys and one thing I noticed immediately was how heavy the prescription lenses are. Not saying it would be a problem, but definitely a concern. Also, the prescription Oakleys were really expensive. Not something I would want to be replacing. -
Has he tried turning the iphone sideways? The keyboard expands and the spacing is much more user friendly for those with "fat fingers".

GSD?? I'll probably regret asking. -
This could be the best advice in this thread. Plus, he has some awesome stories and pictures.

I bet you had 3 cows at the most and they all had names. Bill's description is accurate. Business is business.

Get the iphone app too. -
You need to put your home dz in your profile so people will be able to locate and avoid you.

Blasphemer. Damnation awaits you. God's word is clear on this subject. >Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

FWIW I double checked with an acquaintance who is currently an IRS agent. He said the situation you are describing is not possible. Anyone conducting an IRS audit has to be a duly sworn IRS employee. He further said it would be entirely appropriate to request identification and credentials. Lastly, he said if the person was not an IRS agent, we would ask them to leave. Take it for what its worth, but that is from an IRS agent.

FYI - not all medical is deductible. 37k is a big number to drop on your return. It's the kind of thing that will get you moving to the top of the audit list. Any CPA worth one thousandth of their bill will be able to handle it for you. Yes i am very aware of that. I know 37k is alot to put on there but i paid 42k in medical and them fuck sticks are gonna give me my deduction I deserve. I'm sure your CPA will get it taken care of. That's what you pay them for.

I find that more than a little bit difficult to believe. Well that is what they are doing now. I believe you are mistaken. The IRS doesn't outsource audits to outside parties that have a financial interest in the outcome of the audit. If that were the case, every audit would have the outcome appealed, sent to review, and then to court. How do you think a judge is going to rule on the glaring conflict of interest and how long to you think it would take to wrap up a typical audit? Just not how it works and for good reason.

Instead of being "all ears", why don't you get off your ass and follow the point and click path I've provided you? Just curious, Are you one of those twenty somethings that has their oil changed at a jiffylube type establishment? Blues, Cliff Because it's complete and utter bullshit. And no, I'm not in my twenties and I don't frequent jiffylube. I'm old and wise enough to know better and call out people who are completely full of shit. I would say good luck with your tax evasion scam, but we know you don't really file zero returns or make some ridiculous claims that you don't owe tax. You're certainly not actively participating in one of the days most popular scams as listed by the IRS http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=206370,00.html and without a doubt you're not on a public forum claiming to be actively engaging in tax fraud. Go away troll.

I'm all ears on how you're going about trying to right this atrocity. In the mean time, I still say you're FOS.

I'm sure you understand that tax laws are not just the mountain of codes, but also case law. The requirement to pay taxes has clearly and repeatedly be affirmed in case law. Personally, I am calling bullshit. I'll bet you pay your taxes just like the rest of us.

Yes, I was. His bio states that he is running for NC's 8th congressional seat, which I took to mean the state legislature. I found a story that states he is running for the US house. My mistake.

Push to attach Iran? Seriously? With what? The local VFW? Boy scout troop? Do you not realize that he is running for a local office, not a national office?
-
You've got to be kidding me.

I don't read him looking for skydiver support as having a higher agenda personally. I think that he knows that most skydivers normally support one another (missed the mark on politics, IMO) and that he thinks that we all might think a skydiver actually IN Congress would be a good idea.... I can't say I totally disagree with that thought. I mean we have the USPA lobbying, but to have a Congressmen actually IN Congress.... A Senator would be better, but I don't see how (in relation to skydiving alone) either would hurt. 1. His website states what his local and national objectives are. He is running for a local office, which tells me he will bail out on it in a heartbeat if he can attain a higher office. Personally, I hate that but at least he is being at least kind of honest about his true aspirations. 2. If you actually care or would vote for someone based on whether they have skydived/ridden a motorcycle/drive an American vehicle/ski in the winter/etc. etc. = based on something that has absolutely nothing to do with the office for which you are voting them into, I wouldn't even know how to respond to that.

You can ask him... He will call or write back. He is a Conservative Christian. Honestly, since he is not in my district or state, I don't care. +1 If he already has a national feel to his platform, he's really telling me "elect me and the second I can get to a higher office, I'm outta here". I hate that. Doesn't even have the first job and already looking past it. That's a politician for you. I hate politicians.

Could it be that your propensity to eat entire cans of beans at a time has lead to your cohabitants intentionally hiding the can opener from you?

She had a plan. Her mother, who runs a daycare out of her house, was to take care of the child. Apparently, she decided she couldn't handle the extra responsibility. The child is currently with the soldier's mom while this is being worked out. To me, this is nothing more than someone not willing to live up to their commitment. Someone is going to have to take up the slack for her. Maybe back to back deployments away from his/her family.

While I'm thinking about it, read up carefully on VZW's billing for services on the phone. I don't think it's any different than any other "smart" phone, but I've read that they tailored some specifics to the Droid (rumors only, so take it with a grain of salt). How does it compare to an iphone or blackberry (for dummies)?
