  1. I jumped with Shane he was pretty cool although they where doing back to back loads (trying to get in a break in clouds) so he was real busy trying to get me and the girl behind me set up. I'll be doing AFF in the spring i just can't afford it until then. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

    House

I love house. Of course i haven't gotten to watch a single episode this season yet cause of duty at the firehouse. I need a Tivo As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  3. I just did my first jump at skydive orange a couple of weeks ago myself so i know exactly what you are feeling. Orange offers both AFF and Static line training towards your A license. The website is really good with the details about each of these courses progression and cost. Niether of them is cheap though and USPA requires 25 jumps for your A. here is a link to the page http://www.skydiveorange.com/repeat.htm#a-h Hopefully i'll see you there Blue Skies Dave As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.

  5. I can't speak for anyone else put i just did my first jump (tandem) a few weeks ago. I loved and desperately want to continue on and get my A but i just don't have 3K + what ever gear costs to put towards AFF. I've tried to figure out way but it just isn't there. The moneyseems to be a big reason people can't get started in the sport. At least it is for me. I'm going to do it but it is going to take me till at least next summer to save up that much. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  6. Nope. about 2k. From 6.5k there would never be enough time to do all 600 jumps Yea i'm not sure what the hell made that number pop into my head. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  7. I belive the website said he is jumping at 6.5K and attempting to beat the plane down. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  8. Wow thats all i can say Wow As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  9. Here in VA if you do anything outside of your own county the you revert back to a BLS provider. In your county you can be off duty and preform ALS skills as long as you follow your protocals. But like the man said i would rather stand tall in front of my medical director for dropping a line and maybe saving or at least stabalizing someone then explain to family of a friend that i could have done something and didn't. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  10. I keep some BLS stuff in my car and i usually have the equip to start at least 1-2 IV's. Although sometimes the IV supplies get used up to cure hangovers. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  11. Yea i belive the more addictive. I made the first jump thinking ok let me check this one of the list of things i want to do before i die. I thought it would be cool but man i can't stop think about it and about when i can go again. Hands down one of the greatest things i have ever done. As a general rule, the better it felt when you said it, the more trouble it's going to get you into.
  12. Made my first Jump this past saturday. What the hell was i thinking waiting so long to jump, man so many years wasted that could have been spent jumping. I can't wait to go again. I'm still trying to work out a plan of attack to get my A cause this sport is more expensive then a crack habit.
