  5. Funny as all the brand bashing can be, i really dont see the benefit to it all. It cant possibly make anyone look good. And besides the point I find The Stealth the ultimate compliment to the Super mach 1. It says that Our suit if a force to be reckoned with and They answered appropriately. James, Ill probably try one at Z-Flock, and give you feedback. As I Probably have more jumps on an SM1 than anybody but Jeff. See you there Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits

  8. WOW it was an awesome boogie. Alot of work for Scott and Myself but soooooo, much fun. beach landings, high altitude jumps, high altitude beach jumps, really nice tight flocks, baton passes, cutaways, and beer. lots of beer. next year will be even bigger. the Flock u contingent was strong with 7 of us. Great job on the pics and videos Scotty and Matt. Jeff you did a great job taking care of ALL the students. TONY- you jumped you ass off. Jason and viv threw an amazing boogie and thanks to cross keys and Rook for the planes. Rook, thanks for the patient go arounds for the wingsuits. There will be more pics ands video showing up on flock U's website as well as scottys and Matts. See you guys at 4.0 Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits

  11. Jeff, Chuck Blue, Scott Bland, and I Come on Justin...where did you go to school?? Actually, the question was "who do I need to get in touch with?" The answer "me" was an abbreviated version of "you need to get in touch with me." It's an object. Using "I" there would be incorrect. Where did YOU go to school? Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  12. Two different animals, You really cant compare them. Fly them both at least 5 times each(preferably more) and then make a decision. At Flock and dock 4.0 there will be demos of both suits. Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  13. Jeff, Chuck Blue, Scott Bland, and I Come on Justin...where did you go to school?? DICK Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  14. Jeff, ME, Chuck Blue, Scott Bland. Just jump with us,and attend the events. We are always looking for qualified jumpers and qualifying jumpers. looking forward to seeing you there. Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  15. Regarding the numbers... at such altitude w such mix of wind speed all data falling in to ''may be '' cathegory as well as accuracy of the features and gadgets used... Exactly!!! All like i said. thats what we did. I have no reason to make it up. but there are soooo many factors involved that actual data cannot be taken from it. All i really learned was that i could in fact haul ass when needed. Numbers aside, they meant nothing to me on that jump. Because the feeling i had when i landed was one of the best i have ever experienced in skydiving. better than my first jump. And the looks and excitement on all my guys faces was even better. Thats what its all really about. And yes YURI, That was one flock that even YOU would have been GAY for. Justin Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  16. MONKEY, We are far from done And this all relates to the thread, since the stealth is the bastard child of the SM1 J.K. just trying to figure out Glide ratios. from the looks of the stealth it seems it will have a very similar - L/D capability Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  17. i was not alone Lurch was next to me in his S6. we opened simultaneously at the same altitude. Like i said im not a math guy, but thats what we did. I dont think 117 is an unreachable number. When I exited my first thought was "OH FUCK" cause i could not see the dz and We live in New England= lots of trees and very few options for outs. I was for sure the whole flight I was landing out. then at five i saw the driveway to the dz and knew i would make it. Lurch and I opened at three the rest of the crew dumped high and made it back, But us two Flew the whole way.
  18. it was a 2:45 flight. and everyday i jump I always check the uppers. 3 6 9 12 it was light and variable on the ground and a consistent 12 all the way up. like i said not perfect science but thats what we have you for
  19. we could have been, but those were the original numbers. If anything we probable exited at like 6.2, all i know it was really fucking far, i couldnt even see the DZ. just point and click Justin Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  20. Yuri, I did a jump recently from 14,000 feet. We did a downwind jumprun opening the door at exactly 6.5 miles. I exited the plane at 6 miles and opened over the dz at 3000 feet. I had a steady tailwind of 12 knots all the way down. That was one of my farthest flights, as there were no turns and i flew for distance. get out your calculator
  21. When I try flying the Stealth faster it also descends faster, I heard the same from some SM1 pilots also. yes I have approx. 500 jumps on a SM1. To get max forward i sacrifice lift from the arm wings and channel the Legwing a bit. toes POINTED!! I do descend faster but if i fly that way long enough my vertical speed drops. very fast Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  22. Yes John you definately want to unstitch the backside of your arm wing if you havnt yet. It will feel much better. But what im talking about is the new intro suit. It is not sewn down at all. very cool design, so you can reach all the way to your toggles fully zipped. And the wing does not flap or push back. Its Brill Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  23. No, That Apache was one of our demos that Tony unstitched the wing to see if the intro design worked on a bigger wing. it does but the production Apache will be attached to the body like the other wingsuits, unless I guess the customer requests it. Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  24. the apache is still very much in production, and it is not undergoing any changes. currently all the suits have been digitized, which means they will not be undergoing any changes. Justin Shorb Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
  25. It also looks like the suit is really baggy in the belly area. It could possibly not fit you as well, also try arching harder and look in front of you so you cannot see the flockers above you. this will force you to arch and give you more lift. Learn the position and then learn to look up without changing the rest of your body and you will be able to look around without it affecting your flying. But it is hard to learn from an internet forum. he best thing you can do is just go out and get a lot of jumps on that suit and it will come naturally. No suit is plug and play, especially the larger surface area suits. Justin Shorb Flock U Wingsuit organizing, first flight courses and coaching Flock University Tonysuits
