I've tried completely cutting caffine out, for 3 months, and it didn't help. Now I limit myself to 1 cup of coffee in the morning and MAYBE a can of coke in the afternoon.

My problem is I can never get to sleep. Most of the time I don't even make it to my bed till 11 or 12, then I'm up for another hour or 2 thinking of things that need to be done. So then I have to get up and do them or else I can't fall asleep. And if it's something I can't do till the next day I'll stay up worried about remembering to do it, even if I leave myself 50 notes. Sleep has never been my strong point. Every so often it catches up with me. If I'm lucky I'll get a day where I don't have to have an alarm clock set and I can sleep for 14 hours. After that I'm usally good for a few weeks.

Don't mind me. I'm just babbling. But this entire week, and today especially, I haven't been able to concentrate on anything for more than 5 minutes. Maybe it's the exhaustion hitting me from not getting more than 4 hours of sleep in a single night since about 3 weeks ago (and no, the lack of sleep is not from partying, I've just been that busy lately that I don't have time to sleep). Typically at work I can put on my headphones, zone out, and get a tone of work done. No amount of caffine is helping either. I'm so looking forward to the day when I can sleep in without any worries of having to set an alarm. Unfortunately I don't see that happening for another couple of weeks.

I have only ever heard great things about TonySuits. And I have a couple of different things from him and have never had a problem. I would ask why they did that. I know the one suit I have from him is a little different. But it's made to inflate like that to slow my fat ass down. Are you bigger maybe and he thought you need that? I don't know. All I know is I asked for something to slow me down and that's EXACTLY what I got.

For the most part. A guy who jumps at the Farm and lives in Tuscaloosa was out this weekend. He showed us pictures of what used to be the town of Tuscaloosa. There was NOTHING there anymore. All you saw in his pictures and video was a shit ton of kindling and firewood. Just a funny little side note: he still can't stop laughing at the one video of his house. He's standing in the middle of what used to be his living room panning accross showing the lack of walls and roof, when suddenly on the one wall that remains, not 2 inches from where the rest of it got ripped off, is a Skydive Sebastion poster still in perfect condition hanging on that one remaining wall.

Atlanta itself didn't really get much. The northern counties got pounded pretty hard though. I few of them have declared a state of emergency. I think they said 15 people died in GA. One tornado JUST missed the Farm. One jumper from the Farm managed to survive 2 tornadoes yesterday with no damage to his house.

I was texting Billy weather updates all last night while he was chilling in his basement since he didn't have power and couldn't get them himself. To my knowledge everyone is fine. We did have one jumper from the Farm who lives in Tuscaloosa lose his house. But at least him and his beer fetching dog are stilla round.

Funny you should mention that... I went to a boogie a couple years ago with a few friends. Everyone's gear was piled together in the back of the van. One of the guys was going to borrow another guy's rig. He had borrowed it before, so he was familiar with the rig. He grabs the wrong rig from the pile. Thinks "strange, I don't remember it being this colour". Tries to turn on the AAD, but there isn't one; thinks "strange, I know he has an AAD in his rig". Puts the rig on and boards the plane. Just before jump run, another jumper on the plane points out an incorrectly assembled three ring. A gear check would have caught it. He rides the plane down, and blames the owner for incorrectly assembling the three rings (the main had been reconnected the night before after a reserve repack; it had not been jumped like that). He did eventually admit that the plane ride down was for the better - after he found out what size canopy was in the rig! damn, the stupid is strong with this one The term DGIT comes to mind.
