That was the worst part...he wasn't willing to curve the grades at all. If he would have at least curved a little I would have been more understanding about it all.

We've got it here in western Pennsylvania now.

Sounds like a professor I had in college. I was in a class of 90 or so students. On the first test only 5 people got above an F. He lectured us on how we were all slackers and didn't take college seriously. In my opinion when only 4 out of 90 students can barely pass a test it says something about the professor and not the students.

Thanks...that reminds me...i was going to put a can of food out in hopes he would smell it and come home.

Should've broken both of my legs last August. No I didn't do a hook turn. It was one of my first times off radio. I turned into final WAY too early. Missed the entire landing area and landed in a corner between a fence and the tree line. Landed on my shins on a giant cement pipe. I was able to walk away so I knew my legs weren't completely broken. Went to the ER just in case. I didn't want there to be a hairline fracture that would completely snap on the next hard landing. Somehow I managed not to do any serious harm other then not having any feeling in my left shin for 9 months. Hurt like a bitch though for about 2 weeks though.

Thanks for the tip. I called all of the vets and humane societies in the area. Unfortunately they're all closed for the weekend so I left messages describing my cat. I went for a drive back to my old place. Turns out there are a couple people I know staying there this summer. They said they would keep an eye out for me. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.

I'm currently on celexa. I don't know about you but it reaked havok on my stomach the first few days I was on it. I know what you mean about getting the jitters from it. I tend to shake my legs uncontrollably. Most of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until someone asks me if I'm nervous or something. It also tends to make me drowsy during the day. So I know what you're going through. The side effects deffinately suck but they're better then some of the alternatives I was thinking about before going on it.

It is possible...I only moved about 10 miles away from my old house. The only problem is that no one is living there this summer. I figure if he's not home by Monday then I'm going to start calling the shelters and vets and see if he might have been brought in.

So I moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago. I brought both of my cats with me. I kept them inside for the first couple weeks so that they would realize this was their new home. The first two nights I let them out they came home the next morning as usual. However, my one cat hasn't come home in 3 days. I'm starting to get worried. I'm trying to keep in good spirits thinking that he is just out adventuring. Plus, he's chipped so if anyone found him and turned him in to the vet or anything I should have gotten a call. So if you could please just send some vibes that he's just out having a good time I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Attached is a picture of my cats 2 months after I got them. They're a little over 2 years old now.

How do I do that on Firefox?

For several weeks now I'll occasionally not be able to log in. I have my computer set to just keep me logged in at all times since I'm the only person in my apartment. However, sometimes I'll go to the homepage and it'll say, "Welcome, iluvtofly!" like I'm logged in. But when I try to go to the forums page it acts like I'm not logged in. I'll try to log in and it won't give me any error messages about an incorrect password or anything but it won't log me in. Then later in the day I'll go back and it'll act perfectly fine. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks.

Well, I'm kinda working at the dz...but it doesn't bring in much money at the moment which is why I'm looking for a second job. If I was working there on a more regular basis it wouldn't be as much of a problem. Plus, my dz shuts down for the winter so it would be nice to have something that I could work part time duringing the summer then full time when the dz is closed.

I think the main reason that I have no motivation to find a job is that I don't have the slightest idea of what I want to do. The idea of being stuck in a cubicle 40 hours a week scares the crap out of me. I had a job like that last summer and I only lasted a week before I went nuts and quit. I've also enjoyed the freedom of the last year of being able to go where I want when I want (for the most part when I had the money to do so). I graduated from college last year with a degree in business management and now I don't know if I want to do anything with it. Ok...enough venting for now. I just wish there was some fairy that would tell me what job I would be good at and be happiest at.

where you just don't want to do anything. I was planning on waking up, going to the gym then going on a job hunt. But now it's almost noon and I haven't even gotten out of my pajamas yet. I just have no motivation to do ANYTHING today. Anyone else ever have days like that?

I would but they have that stupid rule about tattoos that doesn't make any sense. I mean they test the blood anyway. And any disease that I would happen to get from the tattoo I'm going to still have it a year later so what's the difference?

$3.00 in western PA...I remember when I used to be able to fill up my tank for just under $10

that the captain of the Time Bandit on Deadliest Catch looks kinda like Jello J?

Ok...I feel really dumb for asking this but...how do you get your computer to not require a password when turning it on? I turned this feature on when I was living in a house with 4 other people. But now that I'm in an apartment by myself I don't really need it anymore. I just can't remember how I did that. I have Windows XP in case that makes a difference. Thanks.

Flaring/ Bruises/ sore arms
iluvtofly replied to BelskyBlueEyes's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I agree with popsjumper. I still get bruises sometimes on my arms (I'm not sure what from but they only show up after a weekend of jumping.) Go to the gym and work on those arms. I know I don't have alot of jumps by any means but it just seems to get easier the more I do it. Going to the gym has also helped with overall soreness after a weekend of jumping. -
That was actually one of my original thoughts. I'm just worried that people won't see it. As for you popsjumper...If I had the money I would go down there cause a good family friend of mine (we actually considered each other surrogate brother and sister) is now working there as a tattoo artist.

Ok. So I've had this tattoo picked out for a while. Now that I finally have the money to get it I'm not sure where to put it. I already have one tattoo on my right ankle. I want it in a place where it will actually be seen. Any ideas?

I did my first hybrid today. I had a blast. It was a 2-way and I was on my belly. I was like you in that afterwards my back was hurting from arching so hard. But I can't wait to do it again.

I can't log onto the pub either...hmmmmmm.
