    I thought it was in the SIM that you had to have a B to do night jumps, water jumps, helo jumps, balloon jumps, high alti jumps and stuff like that. I may be mistaken. I just remember always hearing that I couldn't do any of those things until I had my B. (And even if that isn't the case I think it's a good idea.)

    My DZ's landing area is actually pretty small compared to most. So that kinda divides the landing area. Because our landing area is so small it would be pretty impossible to have designated landing areas. Even if you zoom out the picture you'd see that there isn't a whole lot of landing area at the airport itself.

    Didn't you know that when people do really hard turns they flip upside down under canopy. That's what whuffo's say so it' must be true.

    I know different loads made it to different altitudes. So it is possible that I went from 4000 and you went from 5000. I loved that feeling of dead air for a few seconds. I did the same thing of screaming when I first let go. Didn't it totally kick ass?

    Both my balloon and helicopter jumps were around 4000.

    It's a USPA requirement. I'm guessing it's because you need to be good at getting on your belly fast. There's dead air at first and by time you hit terminal you need to pull so you gotta get stable pretty damn quick.

    Great pictures. Found some of myself under canopy. Love them to death. First pictures I have of myself under canopy. And it's all thanks to you. Glad I got to meet you. Can't wait to see you at Skyfest again next year.

    I also did my first helo jump at Skyfest. It felt like my first tandem all over again. Same with my first balloon jump that I did there. The balloon jump was kinda funny. While climbing out I started shaking with fear because I was afraid I was gonna fall. On the bright side TMaricle said I made it a jump she'll never forget.

    :9:Can't count that high. Although I only did 9 jumps, I got a shit load accomplished. First helicopter, first balloon, first time in an otter, first time in a casa, SCR, PMS, Rodriguez Brothers, and several other fun jumps. I had a blast. Probably would've gotten more jumps in if it weren't for the heat exhaustion I got Thursday. Never did feel quite right the rest of the weekend. But I pushed though as best I could and had a wonderful time. I'm definitely going back next year.

    Yeah but that didn't stop you guys from getting us really good. FYI...Ice cold Milwaukee's Best Light REALLY REALLY REALLY hurts on a sunburn. I had a great time though. Even though later after the SCR ceremony while still dripping in beer you plotted to and succeeded in covering me with pies.

    Just wanted to say thanks again for all your hard work putting this thing together. Just got home and I'm already making plans to come down again next year. Hopefully I can find a camper with AC. Everytime I try to count all the things I did for the first time I lose count. Thank you so much to all to helped put this together. I had an absolute blast.

    I had to do a rear riser landing once. Expect to use every ounce of muscle you have in your arms. Also, expect the flair not to be as great as usual.

    If it costs you $1.50 in gas to go an extra 4 miles you need to get a new car.

    You'd be suprised sometimes. There were 3 straight days where if I turned left out of work and drove 3 miles gas was $3.85. However, if I turned right and drove 2 miles gas was $3.72. Of course one day the cheaper gas jumped 20 cents instantly but hey, I was lucky enough to get my gas when it was "cheap" there.

    (Do I win for longest thread title ever?) Anyway...just got a text from someone down at Skyfest saying he ran into someone who knows me. Problem is I don't know who he's talking about. Aparently it's someone from PA (which is where I live). But he didn't know the other guys last name and the only discription I got was "brown hair with glasses". It's really bothering me that I can't think of who it is. I also feel really bad that I can't think of who it is. I'm a visual person so I'm thinking if I saw a pic then it would click right away. But I still feel really bad.
