  1. A proper diet has been shown to be an integral part of the learning process. Peanut products are a cheap source of protein which is part of a proper diet. Roadkill is also a cheap source of protein. Do you consider roadkill an integral part of the learning process? No. However, I would consider roadkill to be a cheap source of protein which is part of a proper diet which has been shown to be an integral part of the learning process. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  2. Have you ever heard the expression An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? Yes, and guess what ... it's an expression, not a valid argument. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  3. Because their existence in the school is both high risk and not integral (or arguably even useful) to the learning process. Nor does banning them violate anyones rights. A proper diet has been shown to be an integral part of the learning process. Peanut products are a cheap source of protein which is part of a proper diet. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  4. Right, but the reason why you take it is to minimize the probability of landing outside the aircraft without a properly functioning canopy over your head. How is that different than, children that are allergic to peanut products should carry an EpiPen to minimize the probability of having a fatal allergic reaction? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  5. No, I'm not. I'm suggesting that banning peanut products is a reasonable precaution in the given scenario. What makes banning peanut products a reasonable precaution? According to you, some children are allergic to peanut products and all children have the right to a safe learning environment. So, why can't the same argument be used for banning glue, scissors, water, windows, etc...? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  6. You're all a bunch of fast fallers. To burn up 2,000' feet you could actually wait 20+ seconds tracking or 40+ seconds wingsuiting. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  7. Again, that's irrelevant to the discussion at hand. No one is suggesting a sterile learning environment can ever be achieved. You are suggesting that we attempt to achieve a sterile learning environment. I'm wondering where you draw the line. Why isn't that relevant? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  8. Are you suggesting that "on equal terms" is synonymous with "safe learning environment"? I'm suggesting that, in the context of this thread, safe learning environment is encapsulated by "on equal terms." Since you believe that peanut products should be banned to provide a safe learning environment (which you believe is synonymous with "on equal terms") than do you also believe that glue, scissors, water, windows, etc... should be banned to provide a safe learning environment (which you believe is synonymous with "on equal terms")? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  9. Are you suggesting that "on equal terms" is synonymous with "safe learning environment"? If "on equal terms" is synonymous with "safe learning environment" and we ban peanut products to maintain equal terms than we also need to ban glue, scissors, water, windows, etc... to maintain equal terms. Don't you agree? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  10. You're not supposed to go in clouds. You're supposed to fly above and around clouds ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  11. Yes. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  12. It's an irrelevant and non-topical question. Are you serious? You didn't appear to have a problem stating your beliefs in this thread (or any of the other threads you've posted in). Talk about a cop out ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  13. Was that so hard? So, do you believe that pet dander, scissors, water, windows, etc... should be banned because they create a potentially unsafe learning environment? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  14. That's a distinction for the courts to make, not me. I asked where you draw the line, not where the courts draw the line ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  15. Right. Because building and operating a new peanut free school would be so much cheaper. Apparently you missed the part about the school's legal obligations to provide a safe learning environment. Where do you draw the line between a safe and an unsafe learning environment? Should schools ban glue, scissors, water, windows, etc...? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  16. :9:0 9 Wingsuit "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  17. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  18. You're obviously from the "entitlement trumps logic and reasoning" crowd ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  19. That looks delicious! Just throw in some chocolate chips ... PS: I think the winner of the competition should be tested for performance enhancing drugs. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  20. Car insurance isn't just to fix the cars. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  21. Average people can afford car insurance. So why don't you think average people would be able to afford gun insurance? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  22. I have "lucid dreams" all the time. Sometimes I can control everything and sometimes I can only control myself ... either way, they're plenty of fun! "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  23. Be careful how much fuel you add to the fire. After all, we're all covered in nylon. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  24. What can I say, it's all I've wanted and want to do. Nylon crack ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
  25. I'm still on the fence but leaning towards attending. I only wingsuit and have never attended a boogie. Does anyone have any advice or information regarding multiple airplanes, flight pattern, etc...? PS: Also, are there any other only wingsuit people that will be attending? If so, what days will you be attending? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
