What is the average number of jumps and average number of wingsuit jumps of each participant? Edit: Also, what is the least number of jumps of any participants? What is the least number of wingsuits jumps of any participants? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

And people say things in an attempt to sound wise without having a clue ... ... have you learned nothing from history? Actually, no, what we're talking about here doesn't exist in history. Go back and read the original post and tell me how electronic surveillance has ever been used on a massive scale in history. It hasn't. It's been written about in science fiction, but the technology hasn't been deployed until recently. There simply is no historical basis at all for the amount of paranoia that has generated. There is plenty of history regarding human behavior. The tools have changed, the behavior has not. I don't expect you to understand the concern since you don't understand that guns are a tool and that guns don't kill people, people kill people with guns. Just like blades are a tool and that blades didn't kill people, people killed people with blades. Just like clubs are a tool and that clubs didn't kill people, people killed people with clubs. Just like ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

So shouldnt testing and analysing how the current system performs, and than refining and improving the current system be the next step, instead of working with BPA, PSA, FAI etc. to get this system accepted? But, but, but I want to be on a record and acknowledged now! "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I also think that is a horrible idea. I think you should give your student all the information. Try to track out of it, then try to ball up out of it, then pull ... I treat it like other areas of skydiving, you try it, if it doesn't work you try it again, if it still doesn't work you move on. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

My thought isn't that you will outfly the tumble. My thought is that the more experience and skill you have flying your body in different orientations the more likely you will outfly the instability that leads to tumbles. This doesn't mean that tumbles can't or won't happen and that you don't need to know how to recover from them ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

I think thats a whole different subject ... I don't think it's a whole different subject. After all, if folks learn to backfly than they'll be more likely to outfly these occurrences before they become incidents ... or am I wrong? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Wouldn't it be a better idea for folks to learn to backfly in smaller suits before jumping a larger suit? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
