  1. I've heard Eva Cassidy. She is EXCELLENT. Was excellent. Good call on her, though. Definitely in the vein of what I like. TPM Sister #102
  2. I'm not wholesale against music that's not all-happy-all-the-time. I just don't want a huge library of unhappy stuff. Seems like the 90s went through a period of time where every female singer felt obligated to moan through her music. I just don't want *everything* to be that way. TPM Sister #102
  3. Oh, great. Something to aspire to! TPM Sister #102
  4. Hey, I have no problem with some self-marketing! I'll check it out. TPM Sister #102
  5. What?! NOTHING?! I think that entitles you to go out and buy yourself a very large plasma tv. TPM Sister #102
  6. I'm just going to have to work my way down the list! Keep the ideas coming. I appreciate it!! I haven't heard of Tina Karol by name, but I may have heard of her music. What you're saying sounds kind of familiar. (iTunes doesn't have it--the suggested "Tiny Karl" instead. ) TPM Sister #102
  7. Another good idea! I'll check it out. You know how it is; sometimes you just need an injection of something new. Norwegian, huh? Very cool! TPM Sister #102
  8. Take pics! I want to see his reaction to snow.
  9. Don't worry. I lived in Georgia for three years. I know all about all y'all. TPM Sister #102
  10. That's a good idea, too. I didn't think of that. TPM Sister #102
  11. Better yet, I need someone *else* with a credit card. Of course, I guess you didn't specify that it had to be mine. TPM Sister #102
  12. psst . . . I think it's "all y'all." TPM Sister #102
  13. Yes, I definitely need to do some sampling. It's just kind of like pointing me to the store and saying, "go for it!" There's too much! TPM Sister #102
  14. Excellent! Thank you! I will get on iTunes and listen to some of these.
  15. LOL 3300 songs? I guess you have a bit of a collection! What's your favorite stuff? TPM Sister #102
  16. Sleep on the plane!! We'll see you soon!
  17. Squeak! Merry Christmas! You should be here today to see the snow! It's beautiful!
  18. Got Shure earphones and a new iPod for Christmas--oh, my. LOVE them. If anyone wants to talk to me today, they'll have to send email because I can't hear *anything* with the new earphones. Problem is, I need some ideas for upbeat music . . . something that's NOT from the 1980s, like the rest of my music. What I really like is, heaven help us, stuff like Groban, Bocelli, Harry Connick, Jr., Sinatra, that kind of thing. But I need something NEW (something since the year 2000 is a good start); some kind of change. No "wailing women" genre music, please. If it involves angst, I can do without. Otherwise, I'm open to suggestions. Any ideas for updating my musical selections? TPM Sister #102
  19. Chelle, I'm so sorry to hear it. You'll be in my thoughts today. Julie TPM Sister #102
  20. My eyes, my eyes! Wow. That's just. . . . I hope there's a support group for those of us who have seen that. TPM Sister #102
  21. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!
  22. LOL Not a jab at you! I'm sure you're right. I just think it's a funny thing to sell online! But--wait! Maybe the FedEx man would deliver it, in which case, it's starting to make sense. TPM Sister #102
  23. The shipping would cost more than the Blistex! Strange thing to buy from Amazon! (I know you can't, anyway, but it's a weird thing to purchase online.) TPM Sister #102
  24. LOL Well, if it's the bomb-diggity, you can't go wrong! I've only tried the little tubes of lip ointment. TPM Sister #102
