I've been on Vonage for a while now too. It works well, but not great. I've had people complain that they can't hear me too well, although that could be just my phone. I occasionally have a little trouble if I'm really taxing my DSL (viewing a webex on one PC, DLing music on another and on vonage), but that doesn't happen often. For the price, you can't beat the level of service you get. I especially lovve getting my voicemails in an email. Why does it say "Append signature to post" when I don't have a signature?

You really should consider a Mac for her, for your own sake. If all she's going to use it for is surfing and email and stuff like that, you'll be a lot better off. I'm assuming that if you're picking it for her, you'll be her tech support as well... in which case if you go dell you'll be removing all the unwanted and/or trial software that's packed onto the system. Installing and updating anti-virus and anti-spyware. Cleaning off the spyware that gets on the system anyway. Reinstalling windows when it chokes... etc. etc. etc. Or get her a Mac, take 5 minutes to learn how to use it yourself and show her, and never have to bother with it again

Well I have this laptop (MacBook), my old laptop (iBook), my work laptop (Dell), and an old junk laptop that still works. Plus I have 2 old desktops and a demo server for work. Wow... what a great night. I expected a boring dinner as I stepped in to the Chili's in Rayhnam, MA on a business trip. Sat down at the bar next to a couple of older guys. I am not a doctor, but I have worked in radiology for the last 3 years, so I am pretty familiar with the reports. You should talk to your doctor about this too... 1. Not real sure about this one, but is sounds like a little chunk of something is in the notch behind the knee cap. 2. Bruised part of the femur, on the back of the nub that points out towards the arm. For anyone out there who's having trouble finishing the week one routine like I am, try the podcast. I havne't been able to do more than halfway without getting too tired and dropping to just walking, but with the podcast I just made it all the way through! I think it took my mind off of running and made it easier to just do it. One down, two to go!
