Sabre2-150 is my first canopy, i noticed right away the opening problems and in the beginning was thinking it was because I was a low experience jumper. So got used to that, but they never really improved until I started some harness imputs in flight. I don't know if it's only me, but it's easier on my sabre2 to get it to turn right, rather than left. And when I say easy, it really is, to turn right I do a slight imput, to go left, I need to do extremely agressive imputs. So I started making tests, I modifyed my body position in the middle of the openings, like lowering my left leg keeping my right one up and most of the openings got straight on heading. Put I stoped doing this, I didn't want to get some bad habit for future good opening canopies I will own.

My FF coach gave me a good trick for that, first you need shorts/pants that can have a belt. Take 2 parachute packing elastics, tie one elastic to one left side belt pass, the other to some right side belt pass. And then put your rig on and stuff your t-shirt in the elastics with two three turn and your safe to jump!

talking about police tickets, just got one this morning, 35 km/h over speed limit on the highway service lane... Got out of the highway and didnt break for the 50 km/h speed limit, just pressed on clucht. but on the ticket, there's a big mistake made by the police officer, time of infraction states it was made at 8h35am, while I wasn't even gone from home, and in reality, was made at 8h50am. Can I argu in court with this? thx!

Tunnel time before PFF is now always proposed at Nouvel Air and I got to see why! This spring Nouvel Air organised a jumping week for students at Z-hills as they usually do. I went there to do my RW course and got my friend to do his PFF. So he went to New Hamshire to do some Tunnel time 1 week before the trip. The first jumps he did resembled any other student without tunnel time because of anxiety, but dammit, when he got to his last jump, the video one, he flew in the air like someone with 30-40 jumps. Perfect position, very stable, made tons of flips, 360's, and always recovered perfectly, and it was the same thing with the other students who did tunnel time. After that, I got shy showing my PFF vid after his in family events As for the Tunnel in Quebec, it's not going to be in Montreal, but close enought . It will be in Laval, less than 1km away from the Carrefour laval. So this means about 10 mins from the airports of Dorval in perfect driving conditions, which means NO TRAFFIC! Edit to add: It's supposed to be ready for spring 2008

Got a Sabre2 150, 1.1:1, with already 200jumps on it for my first rig. Started jumping it and had 28 jumps. on the 15 first jumps, i would have agreed with everybody here complaning about 180's and 90's on opening. And then started beeing more aware of my body position before opening and always had good on heading openings since. Also, I think my packing as to do with it, lets say I had to repack it about 5+ times before beeing able to putting it in the bag on my first packs . And if you have slammers... Damn just roll the tail!!! Lesson learned, don't be late to your 8:00AM packing course, even if youre on youre vacancy and were partying the night before! Thx Brian for helping me out when my instructer wasnt!

Words are good, but for educational purposes, its always better to see! Think that you'll probably save a life or two with those shocking images.

About Vortex II (not to mix up with Vector II), they're price at about 1700 CAD, which is about 1850 US, and do the math for Euros. They're the cheapest container out there for freefly, but then again, you get what you pay for! There are alot in one of the DZ I go and there are the conclusions. Yup there bulletproof, I totally agree, but there's a huge lack of small details which makes a Mirage of a Micron. If your a women, don't buy one, closing it is frustrating even for a packer. The handle are situated really low, it less comfortable than a micron or a mirage, etc... But in the end, it will do the job, and you got what you paid for! Personnaly, I got G3 and I will probably stick with mirage if the skyhook gets there in time for a new rig in a year or two, if not I'll go with the micron for the extra safety the skyhook gives.

that would be correct! they are competing against the big guys they put in flips, just a twist in those flips and I'll buy it hell I'll probably buy it anyway lol WTF, come on, what where looking here is realism, and tony hawk is the most shittiest game around considering that, I've played it when i was a kid and was enjoying those 4 back flips rodeos 900 degres but that was then. The physics in the game are extremely realistic, sure u cant do everything but its 10000 times more credible then anything else in terms of freefall physics! my 2 cents

That video was incredible, even if I didn't get a single word!!

Yup hunters often use 12 gauges, even 10 if they don't feel confident enough The thing is, don't try your pellet gun, you will only get them mad and you'r gonna look like this
