Went to see the movie "Accepted." Laughed until i cried. It was hystarical. Also laughed really hard when i heard a lady calling over to her husband in the store "Hey Sugar Booger, can you come here?"- now thats a pet love name for ya. snot. Your body is your mobile for the rest of your life. Love it, embace it, improve it, see it for what it could be not what you dont want it to be. Not everyone can be Gisele or Kate Moss- but we can love our bodies just the same. Appreciate one thing about your body everyday. One word- YOGA. seriously, just make your body as limber as possible by doing yoga stretches. I do yoga and also used to dance, so my arch is pretty good. But by flexing your back muscles it will make it easier to arch in the air. Build up those muscles, stretch them out. Let me know how it goes! Being new to the amazing sport of skydiving, i have not had the opportunity to visit many dropzones other than my own. I was the production assistant for the Jay Stokes event this weekend and I was at the Skydive Greensburg Facility. I was amazed by the people and the energy, as well as the efficentcy and positivity they maintained throughout the entire weekend. Even after the fact and the crowds had died down the staff of Skydive Greensburg were well fueled and rearing to fly for the several tandems that were lined up for the day. I was apprehensive about jumping at a new dropzone with a different rig, new landing area, new plane, all of the above. I felt alot of trust in the DZO and recieved alot of support from other skydivers there. I had an incredible skydive with Norman Kent- to say the very least. Needless to say, i was very impressed by the staff and DZO at Skydive Greensburg during this hectic and chaotic weekend. Thanks to Bob and all his staff! Overall it was a great event and Congrats to Jay Stokes and his family!!

AHHH, sigh, my very first hop n pop. I would say it went rather well. I hopped out of the little Cessna 185 and my shirt popped up! luckily i was alone, duh. And when i pulled, i had line twists. Desertstorm, In the defense of this skydiver you are referring to- I will say that he is the most helpful, caring, safe, and loyal person i know at the DZ. everytime i turn around he is helping someone. he never fails to put safety first. As an AFF student or recent graduate, you are obviously new to the DZ and to the sport. The first thing you can learn is to not make enemies with those you may need to seek help from in the future- which i gurantee with you will be often as you are learning. Posting about this instructor in the manner which you have done so is not only digging your own grave but it is setting a false perspective on this skydiver. Your concerns and conclusions you have are based on nothing. Your assumptions are extreme and idiotic. I have been coached and trained and helped on several occasions. You will be hard pressed to find anyone as willing and helpful as this person. Good luck with the negative position you have put yourself in with this ridiculous post. The aug 06 issue of Parachutist has a pic of John Goscinski under canopy while shuttle Discovery takes off from Cape Canaveral. I got chill bumps when i saw that pic. Much better than any balloon, right?
