That was my first diving experience after I got my-C. The guide was doing it so I thought what the hell. I think they were very use to people though. there were a few others when we were doing some deeper dives that wouldn't come to close. We saw a couple of MantaRay's from a distance too, you could barely tell they were so far off.

Nurse sharks are fun to play with. I went to Belize a few years back and there was this area called "Shark and sting ray alley." You could get in and flip them over and pet there bellies like a dog. Untill they got annoyed and took off. Are the nurse sharks there that docile?

Well I'm not sure I'm going yet. The weather doesn't look to great for a 5 hour drive. They are holding the Texas Skydiving League championships though and it looks like a pretty nice place. Sounds like you would give it a thumbs up??
