unfortunately I have school in the off season or I'd probably go in the fall. But hell I'm not going to bitch about a month in Europe anytime of the year. Just glad I can go.

I'm taking a month long trip to Europe this summer. Areas of travel will be Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy maybe Greece, Spain. I haven't put anything solid together yet but have my ticket for July -Aug. Does anybody have any travel advice or places I should definitely hit up?

Hey everybody, I'm going to be taking a trip to Europe from July 7 - Aug 8 this summer. Starting in Switzerland and hitting up as many places as I can, France, Italy, Spain, Germany. I would love to hear from anybody overseas or that has jumped overseas. I would love to BASE while I'm over there as well. Any info or a place to crash on my travels would be greatly appreciated. I think that math teachers at that level don't get enough proper training themselves. due to amount of math courses requried to teach at that level. Therefore they can't truly teach the material. It is a huge problem in america. I have talked about this with a few of my teachers and they are of the same opinion. I just finished Calc II and algebra gave me the most trouble. Americans (which I am) are almost proud of not being able to do math. how many times have you heard somebody say. Oh I can't do math or I'm not good at math? In other cultures that would be the equivalent of saying I'm illeterate. Just my opinion. I bet the teacher couldn't explain the proofs of the material and probably doesn't truly understand himself therefore can't teach. good luck you could always get tutoring for you kid or try home teaching.

That's ok I'm American I don't have to know anything about other countries. Just enough to know that they should all be americanized-buy consumer goods-use lots of gas-drive huge suv's- and not be commies, criminals...,or anything but christian.. -
