A Musical - lot's of activity, some comedy, a great soundtrack, colorful people including a few main characters and plenty of people who can either push you when you are down or boost you when you are high. Probably depends on where you are going and how many cars they have. I used to take the Amtrak from San Diego to LA often and it was a blast. I'd just spend the trip in the snack bar and we'd get drunk. By the time we got wherever we were going, we'd made some new friends and usually got a good story or two for the road. Timely string... I was out at a local pub a few weeks ago and a Vietnam Vet asked me if I'd like to go on a date. I skirted the issue and left it at - I'll see you back here again some time. It's not that I have issues with someone being a specific age, it's just that he is probably my dad's age, which is a little creeepy to me - and more importantly, I just think we are at different places in life - you know, different goals. He wants to settle down and I am just spreading my wings. A fling might be nice for him so he can bag a younger woman, but I have no need to add any notches to my bed post. So I guess for me it isn't a number, but where you are in life and what you are looking for. I'm much more apt to find a man near my age to take to bed because it means he is old enough to know how to please me and young enough to keep up. Then again, when it comes to younger men - I seriously have no interest in men younger than their late 20's - they look like children to me and I want a Man. One of the smartest men I know is a friend of mine named Jason. He's an officer in the Army and when he got back from his first tour in Iraq, one of the women at church looked at him and said, "I still don't think it's right that we are in Iraq, but I know it isn't your fault we are there." His response was simply "Your Welcome." I asked him about it later and he told me the reason he went to Iraq was to support the right to freedom and the mere fact that - not only as a citizen, but as a woman, she could express her opinion - it meant he was doing his job. I used to work at SDSU, it is a good school and the libraries are awesome. What program are you going into. I worked at the school for International Relations and Pacific Studies - their medical program is great - and so is their robotics lab. As for San Diego, there is no better weather on the planet - beautiful all year round. I'm still beating myself up for ever leaving...
