True, but as I've said a few times in various threads it's going to require an Amendment to the US Constitution since elections are left up to the individual states. Maybe something like the election of Trump would show the country the error of its ways and how things need to work with a Federal level of uniformity, but holy smokes I think that would be a difficult thing to get passed and ratified.
