    rub it in......... We haven't jumped since the week of the 12th.....but we did get 30 jumps in on that trip.....going to have to hold me over through the winter months.     You will get there Krisanne....I know you will, you have been working so hard. Are you guys going to hit prairie again??? If so we definitely need to do a jump together this year. My rig still fits me great, actually better now, so that is in good shape - but had some problems figuring out how to land my spectre.....so doc was kind enough to switch canopies with me - have consistantly landed his pilot so ........ I think we will end up keeping the spectre as a back up at this point. It has low jump numbers on it.     I am not getting all new gear but my hubby bought me a nice new slippery pilot 168 - should be here in the next couple of weeks.     I have not been to Miami but I love Sebastian.....they have a great vibe there. We liked it so much that we will be making an annual trip there - have a great time!     Well Vint if you need some motivation you could always come and work out with me........bring Dana along and we could make it a routine outing.     Well, Despite my lack of ambition to exercise due to work and vacation I still have managed to keep my 10 lbs off. I actually am getting ready to go back to the gym...headed out in about 1/2 an hour. Hard to have that motivation when it is 20 degrees and there is snow on the ground but I always feel better once I am back in that groove. That and I just got a new IPOD and it took me a while to get it ready for the gym...another lame excuse but it worked for a couple of days DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

    Whatever you get just make sure that it is compatible with your computer - I don't think it is usually a big deal with still camera's but I am having a hard time with our new video camera - just something else to think about.     Nah. You guys NEVER grow up! Congrats Fozz!! Your right .... they don't, but we love them all the same anyway.     I was flying a Sabre2 190. Winds were at about 10kts prior to manifesting. Came in with a pattern, but with my wingloading and the winds, I didn't have a lot of drive. I didn't come straight down, but at a steep enough angle that I just kinda watched the ground come up and didn't finish my flare (got it to my shoulders.... and then just kinda froze) According to others, it didn't look like it was a hard enough hit to cause considerable injury.... but I guess looks can be deceiving. I need to work on the flaring. I have an issue with the ground.... so I keep staring at it, which doesn't make it go away. I need to learn how to better control that fear and nervousness. Heal fast doc and lots of hugs your way - you and I are very similar creatures when it comes to flaring. - although I haven't broken anything yet.     You will find that there are some things that you pick up really quickly and do well and others that you will find you need to work on - took me 30 jumps to break my back sliding habit/and I am still working on my landings. The big thing is to not get too frustrated because it will just make you more stressed with the next jump. You will not do everything perfectly every time......skydiving has a learning curve to it - just enjoy the ride. We are working on Video now, but it is taking some time due to formatting problems.
