guidelines are there for a reason..... in the end people will follow them if they want to. people may have great skills but when it comes to having to do a flat turn at 50 ft to avoid another canopy would it be better to be on that 170...be down to that 150....or even up on a 190. What canopy will protect you and keep you from going in in that situation. Bottom line is....if you do go in....it is those around you that are going to have to deal with the aftermath of trying to stablize you and resuscitate you. my 100th was uneventful as I wasn't including my tandems/previous IAD jumps - everyone else did and got me with the pie. On my 200th jump we tried a six way, which funneled but we back into the round and started on the second point when it was time to break off. Another guy from our group had just did his 100th so we pied him - those who were doing the pieing were suppose to get me but I escaped Regardless I got to jump with the people I adore so it was fantabulous! DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

That a girl, Jump numbers can't really dictate when you are ready to FF but they do expose you to the risks that are involved when you decide to try it!!! You are ready in my opinion, we need to turn you from the dark side soon so we can balance the force. How about Shelton when the weather looks good? Let me know when you want to play. we are going over there at the end of april.....V is going to measure us for jump suits.....if not then, the season will be opening so you will have your chance to convert me yet. There's not a lot of women who would ever feel comfortable wearing that in public, me included. You go girl! Yeah I know... I probably should be wearing it either, but otherwise I can't stay down with the formation. However, it's not like I'm wearing it to the grocery store or the mall. It's only the DZ and that is just like wearing something at home. We're all family. Family overlooks a lot of stuff. You always make awesome suits!!!! unfortunately I think we brought the cold weather with us.....sorry about that. Was glad we were in the tunnel for some of it. Beautiful jumps....great people. felt pretty much spoiled that so many people came to make us feel so welcome! Any chance you want to clone yourself and send a few copies to Michigan? We could use some more people like that! I had some very experienced free fliers that until I had a 100 jumps on my belly that I shouldn't even consider free flying - took it to heart as I respect them and have strictly been a belly flier. since we were on vacation this week I had a packer pack my new pilot for me a couple of times. - it is getting easier just nneds to be jumped more - now if only winter would end DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

Keep us posted. Doc and I live here in spokane. There is only one Dz on this side of the state which is now located in ritzville. Weekend dropzone that opens in may - october/november weather permitting. well...don't forget to hit the east side of the state. we often get ignored and get lonely over here. Have you looked at Bill Von's check list and completed those tasks? what do your instructors and other people who know your flying capability as well as the other variables that should be considered when downsizing (outs, weather conditions, elevation)??? does jumping and tunnel count???? while just about everyone else was complaining about being sore....I felt great....and figured out that yet I need to be stretching even more than I have been. but it was nice being in decent shape for a change. Since I actually get to post this week and didn't see the thread going....here it is......you know the drill! :7:1 down in elsinore playing with mcbeth, gia and lisa h......how could that be anything but the very best thing in the world - 7 jumps and 1 case owed for my first jump on my pilot 168......great week - thanks to the peeps at elsinore and the perris wind tunnel, we had a great time!!!!! Can't wait to come back
