I am always a little nervous the first jump of the day....when I am at a new or different Dz or I am jumping from a different plane than what I have jumped out in the past. Jumping new or different gear will get ya too. Sometimes the "nerves" come out of no where and then the door opens and they go away - I actually get very calm. Weird huh? Congrats that your recovery is going so well.....most don't do as well as you are doing..... As for the long summer....at least you have your RC truck to keep you entertained. It might ease the pain a little bit. Go to visit Beth or Turtle......geez....now I am really torn on. I would be there during the week - that is the only draw back as that is when people are usually working. Damn girl....at least you are jumping...I am still 2 weeks out before I can even think about it.....but after that ....welll.....looking forward to getting measured by you and hanging out with the hubby and prospect of jumps .... C'mere. Elsinore is calling my name....it feels like my second home in close competition to sebastian.......and it is closer than my favorite florida DZ. San Diego/Perris/Elsinore are very doable. I have been to elsinore twice in the last year and did a tunnel camp in Perris in february. San Diego might be nice...........I will be solo and it is from a Monday to Friday so definitely have to hit a DZ that has weekday action. Go anywhere for 5 days at the end of May where would you go and what kind of trouble would you get into? Doc is going on a "boys" trip on the boat leaving me here by my little old lonesome self. I was suppose to go to Vegas but my friend bailed and I was thinking I would find some other trouble to get into........any ideas???? Love em! But only if they are from the West Coast. The ones that I have had in Florida have not been that good. However the ones from the Northwest are awesome - smaller, crisp and good flavor. I like Pen coves and Kumomodo's the best. On a good day we can see it at West Plains......but it has to be a good day - lots of other stuff to see from this side of the state if you want to venture over this way.....otherwise I am sure that Kapowsin, Snohomish, Toledo or Mt Vernon will suit your needs nicely DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!
