    I keep trying to talk doc into letting me jump early...esp for PMS jump......so far no luck You should have heard Heidi trying to talk Kevin (our AFFI) into letting her do a tandem last night. That was classic. A lot of, "But I promise I'll hold my foot up". I am really looking forward to the trip up there. I am trying to get more of our boys to commit, but they are stubborn. Just tell them that there are a lot of hot chicks up here!     I got DD'd from Mama jumps about 2 weeks ago...I think it was payback from when we came back from LP - Bolas was here and we called just about everyone who was in our phones - no one wanted to talk to us though. I think the only people we talked to were guppie, mama jumps and future divot if I remember correctly....mostly talked about lost prairie - I did DD Bolas last weekend before my phone went on the brink.......mostly just gave him shit for not answering his phone.     Even my daughter calls you that.....as a matter of fact, she know's everyone's nicknames better than we do. My rigger called me "pigpen" last year ..... usually if there was a cloud of dust in the landing area I was in the middle of it - he always use to get out the vacuum cleaner out when he would repack my reserve - had shaken that nickname off up until my injury - I am sure he will have a new one for me next year when I am back to jumping. Galbreath Way 1-509-659-5000 Rates: 70-99$/night Indoor pool/pet friendly got pretty good reviews La Quinta Inn 1513 Smitty's Blvd 1-509-659-1007 rates: approx 70/night outdoor pool poor reviews Top Hat Motel 210 E. 1st 1-509-659-1100 rates: approx 50/night.....might be cheaper if you mention your a skydiver.     I don't care how it gets out of the water. I just want some fresh and in the frying pan. All this fish talk is really making me want to go visit a friend living on the No Cal coast. Only problem is, no jumping where she is...... Just need to come over on the boat. Mt Vernon is just a hop skip and a jump away from where we are moored in Anacortes.

    I was referring to deep-frying, just like you were talking about doing with the halibut. I don't know how well ling cod would pan-fry...it's kind of soft for that. But it certainly makes good fish & chips. Blues, Dave Hey Dave, Actually doc and I flash fry it in olive oil, and some of our puerto rican spices (bohillo -sp?)......honestly, I find it to be the best way to eat it.

    Saturday night will be potluck night - right now we have someone bringing burgers with all of the fixings, doc's notorious spicy meatballs, pasta salad - just plan on bringing something and sharing....there never seems to be a lack of food. I will post hotel information shortly.     I haven't had a reserve ride yet...don't know that I want one. I practice my EPs religiously. I have had a couple of close calls where I just about chopped bad line twists but I was able to work it out before I hit my hard deck.
