Ah baby, you are so sweet. I have to say, I am having the time of my life with you, I feel so blessed that we got together, and we have a great life together. Thank you for all you do for me (and to me ) I have to say, though, I love your comments about John and Valinda "when I grow up I want to be like them" - I think they are the only couple that I know with a relationship close to ours - they both adore each other. ( I just don't know what she sees in John - just kidding) Anyway, Cindy, thank you for loving me like you do. I couldn't imagine life without you. Doc xoxoxoxoxoxoxo muah! being out of your niche will continue to be a problem....until you find that niche you really belong in. guys...keep working at it, keep fighting for it. skydiving is one of the most amazing adventures life can take you and in addition to jumping you meet some really cool people compared to if you continued to live in your box. yeah...but are you able to land it down wind...cross wind or when you are in a tight spot. just because you can land a 190 doesn't mean that you should be jumping a 170. think about the downsizing checklist ----- then again a 170 may be right for you but this will at least give you something to think about and look at before you downsize. i jumped a 190 for about 150 jumps and then downsized to a 168 and have about 100 jumps on it. had a bad landing and blew out my knee...out for 3 months and am just coming back.....will be going back to the bigger canopy for a while needless to say. exactly! and it depends on how well you are healing...how your strength is in that leg. you don't want to come back too soon and re-break it. the other thing to think about when you come back is upsizing for a while. you did what you thought was right...you will find that sometimes when you are watching the winds that you will stand down as well. bottom line is it is your ass on the line (and sometimes others) if you screw up. sometimes listening to that voice in your head saying "don't jump" is a good thing. it means you are not mentally prepared for the skydive so why put yourself at risk for injury. it may have turned out fine...but if something would have happened and you ended up injured you would be kicking yourself in the ass for a different reason. Yeah that's what I feel, it still sucks. We were absolutely no good for each other. And I have an amazing, loving wonderful man now. I am very lucky... but it still sucsk..... it does. but in all honesty it was the best thing i could have done for myself, my peace of mind and for the kids. i am a way better parent now than i was then ----- and so much happier. i knew how bad it was when my oldest son said that he thought it was the best thing i ever did. i think he was tired of watching me cry almost every night. a new chapter in your life has begun - enjoy it, find yourself and what you want to do with your life. my life now is so different, and i am so much happier now than i had ever been in the first 25 years of my life --- very weird in some ways. also found out that the previous relationship was very dysfunctional...where the one i am in now is so amazing. I am lucky enough to be married to drdive...... or maybe it is the other way around we have been married for two years in february but dated for 5. Why we work? Good question. I think part of it is we play really well together, we share similar goals, and we accept each other for who we are --- the good and the bad. The other thing is we don't try to change each other. If we don't like something for the most part we say what we have to say and let it go --- for the most part anyway. We don't go to bed angry with each other.... and we are both pretty good about telling each other how much we appreciate all that each of us do every day. I can't imagine my life without him and he is very good about encouraging me to follow my dreams. That's better. You don't want me to lay a Pete Hill style grounding on your ass. Blues, Dave we only have one weekend of jumping so I guess you can extend it to next season. Don't worry....I will bring my share to elsinore Elsinore??! ELSINORE??!! I thought I earned at least a little bit of that beer that both of you owe for yesterday...and you're going to deprive me by buying it in Elsinore?! That's it, I hope you enjoyed your jump yesterday, because you're grounded! (Oh yeah, and as I said yesterday, welcome back ) Blues, Dave I will be bringing out to WPS this weekend...sheesh I just said I WOULD BRING MY SHARE to elsinore...how could I ever forget my home dz.......maybe I will even bring out some lang that I have stashed DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

I have a pair of sony headphones and love them. compact and comfortable. my hubby has a pair of bose - i like them better just because their is more noise reduction. his 1st pair broke and they had him send them back and he paid 100$ for a new pair. the 2nd pair was a newer model, more compact. it really comes down to how much money you want to spend. I think we spend about 125$ for my sony -they work well ---- Bose are more expensive but you get a little better quality. either way I don't think you could go wrong from my perspective.
