You know what they say....."Happy wife.....Happy Life!" As for the arm.....who know's what is wrong, #1) nobody has xray vision so unless you have a janitor fx (obvious enought that a janitor can diagnose you without an xray because your arm is bent in all funky directions) you need an xray to determine if a break is present and #2) unless someone can physically evaluate your arm there is no way of knowing if you have a contusion/break/rupture of tendons ect. ect. ect. Whoever evaluates your arm will be the one to tell you if the xray is necessary. Have a great time in the tunnel. I can't wait to go back! I had this happen....lady was drunk and the cops didn't show up for hours- I wasn't home and my neighbors had called the cops. Since they left a note on the door they said it was now a civil matter. Too bad they left a fake address, phone number and name.. Damage was about 750$ worth so my homeowners wouldn't cover it as my deductible is 1000$. Most of my classes weren't too bad...lots of papers and busy work, but the ones that were most challenging like A&P, Pharmacology were definite buggers. I think the thing I hated most was all of the rewrites on my thesis. I must have rewritten that thing 100 times it would seem. Every program is different so it is hard to say what challenges you will face. The only thing I wish my program would change is the amount of clinical time - which I think should actually be increased. But once you are done it is an awesome feeling of accomplishment! the one case I have seen was very quick. the little girl die...didn't lose any limbs and came out ok. I credit to the fact that the parents recognized something wasn't right and brought her in with in 4 hours of symptom onset....the triage nurse roomed her immediately and the minute I say her I put her in isolation. Had her line started and medications ready to go by the time the doc got into the room which was only about 15-20 minutes. Not all the outcomes are usually that good. We just happen to be traveling to jump in sebastian at that time so we (Dr. Dive and I) will be there !!!! We actually will be in the area from the 3rd -12th so this will just make that trip even better!!! .......OHHHHHHHHHHH I am so excited!!!!!!
