Who is going to be at the Endless Summer boogie at skydive Sandiego Oct 26th-28th? I am not from Sandiego, but am going to hit the boogie just by pure luck and want to know who I am going to get to play with that week DPH # 2 "I am not sure what you are suppose to do with that, but I don't think it is suppose to flop around like that." ~Skootz~ I have a strong regard for the rules.......doc!

Now turtle....you already have seen parts of me that most haven't......there isn't a whole lot more I can do for you. On another note...you have seen parts of doc that most haven't seen. I hope I was the highlight of the night....that is.....if you can remember. Doc doesn't seem too....although I am finding he doesn't remember most of LP after approx 4pm. I know doc very well......and yes I am biased....but one of the things I love about him is his compassion when people are truly sick or are truly in pain. He may make a joke about with holding treatment....but the bottom line is, that would never happen. It is unfortunate that you have had the experience of losing someone that was not treated. I don't know of any doc that wakes up and says "today, I am going to kill somebody....and I don't give a darn." As a medical professional you learn from every encounter...every experience. Unfortunately, we are human, we make mistakes, and they come back and bite us. the other thing is that there are those who abuse the system that tend to harden you.....it isn't right that this happens, but it does. I wake up every day hoping that I do right by the patients that I care for...and there are nights when I stay up and wonder if I did the right thing. There are days when you are the hero...and days when you come home feeling like a pile of crap.....it comes with the territory. It is those days when you really do well by your patients that make those bad days.....not so bad after all. kind of remind me of a hallmark card........too bad there was no video of the jump

last week I jumped and it was a high of 56....on the ground, meaning at altitude it is a lot colder. We just put on our winter woolies and go have fun

long story...but, we have quite a few jumpers that are from the tri-cities so it is closer for them. for us it is about the same amount of time so it is no big deal. it is a private airport/airstrip and the new dz is surrounded by two farmers who love skydivers so that is a good thing. i-90 will give a lot of pr because you will see the canopies from the highway. the owners are putting a lot of money, love, blood, sweat and tears to make it work. there are a lot of us looking forward to the move.

West Plains is located in Davenport but are getting ready to move to ritzville next season. Generally we are closed during the winter months. Richland skysports would be another consideration if you are on the east side of the state....they do some winter jumping as the temps are milder in the tri-cities than in the spokane area.
