Post your Hot Swoop Pic(s)
SkymonkeyONE replied to freeflydrew's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
That's the "dirty Lopez!" Outstanding. -
Don't feed the trolls, brother! Can't you tell that I am trying to be the "new Voodew!?" This anonymous prick simply does not get it. I much prefer being a full-on prick all of the time. What a hater.. PS: my school is for sale to you as well. Ten bucks and a reach around ought to do it. Chuckie

Ed's hair is always perfect, plus he was on the 400-way so he is clearly my superior. Ask him who certified him to be a BMCI though. Hey Ed, is YOUR school for sale?

There were TWO more versions of this site prior to the current 2001 start date which is what you are going off of. Many of us found the original site, Sangiro's Synergy in like 1998. Everyone had to re-register for the last change, but there were thousands of people posting to the original version of this site long before 2001. There were originally only three forums. OK, just for you, I think I might sell the school. What is your bid? I'm cheap. Bring beer though, or I won't take your offer seriously.

My Sabre2 opens great! Yes, it's very small, but mine, a 2003 model, opens straight as an arrow and never, ever slams me. I have never chopped that main. Packing a frog in it on my last Canada trip and leaving it to sit all weekend long made for some fantastic aroma, too! The canopy is now known to the packers here at Z-hills as "old stinky." I love it. AFF/SL/TM-I, PRO, S&TA, bonafide prick, and the owner of an "unacredited" wingsuit school in FL where people come to drink beer, swoop the pond, and fly their shit.

I am not at all insecure. I am just a prick with an attitude; same as always. Actually, I am pretty sure there are a couple of other guys with as many wingsuit jumps and that's fantastic. That's besides the point though. The point is, the school is "not for sale." It's actually an inside joke and you are clearly not read in on it. As for the moderator comment, eight years of that was more than enough for me. Flame away, or just come visit us this winter and fly with us. Bring beer. Chuck

Even after reading the same announcement in Parachutist this month I have not heard any reason, whatsoever, why Hybrid XP is no longer working at XP or jumping at Raeford. Chuck

Hey brother...I have about 1500 tandems now and about the same amount of AFF jumps. If you are tired of one discipline, then just don't put your name on the board and focus more on your AFF (which you NOW now is a very serious thing) or maybe just start fucking off and jumping wingsuits(or whatever) for fun more often with me. If you think it's "work" then it's just going to suck. Man, what we do is supposed to be FUN!! Right? Chuck

I was there, as were many other white people.

Cut-in laterals were initially designed so that people with larger rigs would not have their rigs "washing around" on their backs during freefally. With tiny rigs, the cut-in laterals acually hinder your ability to harness steer your canopy. They are also a hinderance on small rigs which are used primarilly for wingsuiting because they bind in the lacing of the suits. Chest rings on a swooping rig are likewise a total waste of money. Let me be clear here: A: all swoopers nowdays either pull down their sliders or completely remove them. Thus, once down the chest strap is completely loosened which negates ANY benefit of chest rings under canopy. It's for that reason that no Wings container is offered with chest rings. They are simply redundant under canopy if you are jumping an HP canopy and fly it in it's designed parameters. B: Cut-in harnesses make your rig fit very tight to your body in freefall, thus preventing any "sliding around" of your container, assuming you are jumping a container wider than your waist. If your container is the same width of your waist or narrower, then you are simply wasting your money with cut-in laterals. You are even screwing yourself with those cut-in laterals if the rig in question is primarilly used for wingsuiting. For wingsuiting, it's actually much better if your laterals go straight back into your suit lacing. I have been jumping rigs with cut-in laterals since BEFORE the introduction of the Javelin Oddysey. When I took my Wings ride, I first got both of my sponsored rigs with cut-in laterals. After my first wingsuit-specific rig got over three years old, I ordered my replacement with "straight" laterals. It's a much easier fit with the suits I jump and it responds MUCH better to harness steer than my cut-in rigs. Chuck Blue D-12501

Actually, what got me riled up was a second-hand rumor that a buddy of mine discussed at an out-of-state boogie with another good friend who routinely jumps with us. This other buddy of mine has been working his mojo and increasing his "market share" in schooling. Whatever.... I love both of the guys, but the bottom line is that it is me who owns this school. Outright. No partners. History: the term "Z-Flock" was termed by the first two wingsuiters on this dropzone: Chris Ware and Scott Bland, BOTH of whom I trained in their BMI coure (along with Scott Campos as my fellow BMCI candidate) nearly a decade ago. Scott Bland is still a VERY active member of our local community and still is a primary sponsor/organizer of the Flock and Dock events we run here at the dropzone. Chris still skydives here, but mostly freeflys now, for whatever reason. He is now very, very sick, but was the person who actually coined the term "Z-Flock" and gave out the numbers. He is the person who paid Tony Uragallo to make our huge "Z-Flock" banner which flys on the outside wall of our school. I pay rent here to own the concession. I have been flying wingsuits since 1998. NONE of you have more wingsuit jumps than I do. If you claim you do, then you are perpetrating a fraud and can kiss my ass. The President of USPA signed off on both of my last "1000 jump" awards and I will be making my 6000th jump in about two months. That's over 2300 wingsuit jumps now. Our school is sponsored with suits by every major manufactuer. We teach people on the suits which are most appropriate for their body type. We are not biased at all by any one manufacturer. Buy what you like. I can facilitate any choice you make. There are never less than 30 suits hanging on my rack. Come visit us and have a fucking blast this winter! Again: my school is NOT for sale (or franchise) Chuck Blue D-12501, BMCI-4, AFF/SL/TM-I, PRO, S&TA Z-Flock Wingsuit School,

A: don't pull low, lest you be compared to completly ill-prepared BASE only faggots who think they can actually fly. B: don't be an idiot C: Fly a canopy that is in trim and opens straight enough that you do not need to fuck with our riser on opening.

Why is my best friend coming home with a "turban?" No, you cannot buy my school. Homo.

2008 Black & Gold Meet
SkymonkeyONE replied to bloody_trauma's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Hey Chris, When you FINALLY become the commander of the USAPT, please consider we ultimatly-cool and terribly-attractive retirees for inclusion in the meet. If you continue in the previous habit of neglecting us, then just know that you will never, ever have a chance of working for us in the civilian sector with NEK or any of the other civilian contracting company. Never mind....As an LTC (or greater by this time) you ought to know this. Not allowing retirees is bullshit. My ID card is as valid as yours in the PX. Carlos Azul -
This fucking idiot had the nerve to show up at Lee's house (and Brian and Sam's) right after the murder and act like he had nothing to do with it. Several, Brandy among us, had the feeling he was definitely involved right then and there. Amazing. Chuck

2008 Black & Gold Meet
SkymonkeyONE replied to bloody_trauma's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You got THAT right, Matt! It was a sad, sad day when the team decided that they were only going to allow active duty to participate. We used to routinely let retirees, dependants, and DA civilians compete at the old "military nationals" which is what the Black and Gold meet used to be before the death of the military clubs. The meet used to, back in the day, be hosted by different military clubs. It would jump between the GB club, the 82nd club, and the XVIII corps parachute club on Fort Bragg. We used to get a lot of foreign military teams at the meet, too. Fun stuff. Chuck -
Will Florida Crackers be elligible for this competition?
